1st Aniversary

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. NIce and clean rooms
Cons: Only thing we didn't like was the smoking in the Casino.
Location: Nothing nearby but we were only going away for a night from Clovis so it was perfect. We wanted to get away for a night but couldn't go far.
We had a good night away from home. Not too far but far enough to get away from the kids for a night!

Very comfortable hotel

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Food, comfortable beds
Location: Near to Yosemite south gate
We spent 2 nights and the cost was surprisingly cheaper than the majority of hotels in nearby Oakhurst. Facilities were very good. Rooms large and roomy, although bathroom itself in contrast was relatively small. We didn't get the opportunity to swim in the indoor/outdoor pool although it did look impressive. Breakfast food was delicious and not too expensive - we had the breakfast special which was lobster benedict which was a real extravagance but an inexpensive treat. Didn't go to the casino apart from to look at it out of curiosity - if that's your thing, it looked huge and plenty to keep you interested. Would recommend

Three days in the FootHills

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: The rooms, the decor, the staff, their was nothing much to change.
Cons: Security when called for, needs to be quicker to respond. We had one concern and it took them @ 5 minutes to show up.
Location: We visited Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Moaning Caverns plus the valley.
This is an oasis in the middle of where you want to be. We were just at the base of the foot hills to go to either Yosemite, Kings Canyon or to the valley. Facilities are awesome, staff great and the food was very good. Nothing anywhere within 100 miles compares.

Not worth for the money

not worth for the money they charge compared with the facilities. No complimentary breakfast that even small hotels afford nowadays. Wifi is not perfect.........

very nice hotel, swimming pool is big

Posted May 10, 2014
Pros: i like the room,it is big, nice moutain view. i like their swimming pool, and even their gym,it has everything for the entire family to enjoy.
Location: you can visit the nearby places, go see yosemite national park.
staffs are very helpful, although this hotel is for casino gamblers,it is a nice place to stay overnight,it is near yosemite,it has good restaurants and you can try your luck to gamble. the casino was crowded that time we were there.

NEVER, EVER again.

Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: The location.
Location: Bass lake.
Furniture in bad condition. Restaurant, waited in line for 30 minutes to eat at a restaurant inside casino that was half empty. After waiting we decided just to order take out at the same restaurant instead of continuing to wait. Went to cashier and she took our order and our payment then told us it will be ready in 45 mins. Decided to cancel our order because we didn't want to wait another 45 mins for food. Casino completely understaffed. But the real kicker was when at 12:38 am the alarms in the hotel when off in our room telling us to evacuate the building. I called the front desk and then said it was a false alarm. It SUCKED.

Good location just outside southern yosemite

Posted Apr 25, 2014
Pros: Convenient stopover between Yosemite and Los Angeles.
Cons: The bakery should be next to restaurant and not the other side of the casino.
Very large hotel/casino outside Coarsegold. Room clean and tidy in new block. Restaurant looks average, food OK. Unfortunately, the bakery is positioned inside the casino which is not ideal if travelling with children and you just want basic breakfast.
