“Decent Hotel, Horrible Food in the Restaurant”

Our experience with the hotel was positive. The front desk clerk was very helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a king bed because someone had been sick in the room that we reserved by the pool. I'm glad we weren't near the indoor pool though because it was rather loud with the sounds of shrieking children. It is not a pool you would want to swim laps in, but for families with little kids it would be super. The fitness room nearby looked good though we didn't use it. We didnt have time to check out the attached bowling lanes either though if we return it would be fun to try them out. However, the hotel restaurant I would avoid at all costs. We had to eat there because there wasn't much else available in Cobleskill when we arrived late in the evening. The food was horrible, though the servers were nice.

“BW Inn Plus is Just Average”

Hotel is institutional looking.Hallways are dark and plain. T V sets are older,not H D.WI FI was good.Like most hotels,exercise room was small and unused. Indoor pool good for kids,Didn't see any adults using pool,too public. Food was limited to a few choices. Breakfast was free but not very good.Fresh fruit salad was from a can. Pancakes were tasteless. Overall the hotel is ok and there aren't a lot of alternatives in the immediate area. It is conveniately located to Howe Caverns which is the reason we stayed there.

“Decent Stay”

The location was great. The pool area was very nice. The staff was pleasant. Rooms could use updating, like the mattresses, TV's, bathroom door knob. It was nice that the rooms came with microwaves & refrigerators. It was great that we could bring our dog with us. She got hurt 2 days prior & did not want to leaver her at a kennel.

“Nice place in the Howes cave area”

Hotel was centrally located to town. Everyone on staff was helpful and pleasant. Indoor pool area is nice but cold if you are not in the pool. Did not a chance to use the bowling lanes. Restaurant in hotel was great. Lovely scenery set in Cobleskill. Will return when in the area.

“stay away!”

The rooms themselves are old looking but clean. Initially took about 5 trips back and forth to the front desk to get our room key cards activated correctly, then our room key cards only worked half the time. The restaurant was just plain awful. The food was so incredibly bland. We actually ended up going to the Pizza Hut down the block afterwards to get a small pizza. Stay somewhere else if you can!!
