“Trident Kochi is fantastic”

Absolutely fantastic hotel - Service was impeccable - I was so happy I stayed at the Trident in Mumbai the next night - definately a 5 star experience. Food, service and facilities are wonderful - great gym, pool.

“So pleased we booked the Trident in Cochin”

We (2 adults, 2 children - 12 and 13) stayed at the Trident for 3 nights before joining a tour of Kerala and Tamil Nadu ...it was one of my better decisions. Great hotel, great pool, nice food and lovely staff. We all loved it. It may be less convenient in terms of location but we used the ferry or just took Tuk-Tuks to town and back...a wonderful experience in its own right and a highlight for my boys. This was a great way to relax before a hectic tour and we sorted out jetlag and the shock of the heat very happily indeed. I thought it was great value and although the food was expensive by Indian standards, we were very happy with it and even my non spice liking 13 yr old could find food he enjoyed both from the menu and the evening buffet. The Spa was very good too - best treatment I had in India but also the most expensive! If you are confident about using local transport then I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

“Beautiful Hotel”

A few of us stayed here to escape the hustle & bustle of Bangalore... An amazing hotel!! Beautifully decorated with great rooms... We stayed out of season, so pretty much only a handful of guests staying. The menu is limited to Indian or Fish cuisine, but they do cater for those who like it less spicy! It really feels like a 5 star hotel, the spa is great & well worth a visit.. This is really a hotel to relax at, not a lot to do outside & the hotel isnt in the most attractive of areas!! But it is worth a visit!!

“cochins great getaway...”

if i had to name my favorite hotels in the world, the Trident would definately be among them. as a woman traveling alone and often to india, i find this hotel to be a real gem. the staff are all so charming and professional. the rooms are incredibly comfortable, each with a pretty marble bathroom. the swimming pool is beautifully maintained and a great place to have lunch or a snack and drink by. the food is very good. they have a new south indian chef who prepared a fabulous dish. one of the best i've ever had. two days later he gave me a cooking lesson/demonstration using his recipe. all cars and trips are easily arranged through travel desk in lobby. the people here, from housekeeping to the general manager are what really make this hotel shine. it is a quiet oasis.

“One of the best hotels”

The hotel is upscale, undoubtedly excellent value for money, great facilities, very helpful staff. Service in the restaurant tends to be slow, the cooking is not great, especially simple foods that should be cooked with a delicate touch rather than mass-produced. The location is superb, and the staff obviously trained according to the highest international benchmarks. Highly recommended.

“Great stay in Fort Cochi”

This was a little oasis in the heat. Very good rooms and services. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you.Great service, great room, communal areas and great staff.Breakfast really good with waiters who get you whatever you want.Bar and restaurant good but quite expensive.The hotel is on Willingdon Island, there is nothing much else here, although we did see a festival with elephants one night. However there is an easy, regular ferry service to Fort Cochi ( which costs all of 2 Rupees ) We were very impressed and returned here after travelling South for a few days.

“Nice hotel, but not a great location.”

The hotel is fine but is located on an island with nothing else but a large, dirty and dusty container port. You can not go anywhere from the hotel other than by taxi or rickshaw. There is not a free airport transfer service as described; the Hilton charge about GBP12 for this service.

“Great hotel.. not a very good location”

Hotel was wonderful oasis in a very industrial area. Staff was helpful and plesant. Rooms were spacious and clean definitely. It s bit far 20 min drive form the Cochin Fort and the surronding areas are very industrial. Hotel offers very good aruvedic spa

Location of the hotel is miserable, I booked in this room for 9 nights but I stayed 4 nights only.
