Kitchen had limited cutlery, pots 'n pans

Posted Sep 30, 2013
Cons: Improve the kitchen. Improve the bath room taps and sink (at least put in a sink plug!). Improve the furniture (sofa was small and not comfortable).
Location: Location was OK, has a shopping center, petrol bunk close by.
It was a disappoint stay. In the two bed room apartment, bath room was attached to a bed room. In the middle of night, everyone else have to disturb the people in that bed room to access the bath room. Bath room was quite tiny and the facilities were quite old. Kitchen was disappointing as well with very small number of cutlery, pots and pans.

Try the Esplanade hotels in low season

Posted Feb 15, 2013
Pros: It was rearsonably clean
Cons: Location, ordinariness, lots of transients
Location: Crapenhausen, and I had a car
Gee it's ordinary and other reviewers have commented that you get what you pay for and what do you expect which is OK but for $15 more in mid FEB you could stay at a downtown hotel and not have to put up with backpackers and their early mornings cigarette smoke getting sucked into your room by your airconditioning and have a decent pool and a chair to sit in inside your room, and be downtown. The staff are nice, but really "holiday apartments"!?!

Locked out

Posted Dec 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Had difficulty locating hotel and as a result arrived around 9pm found myself locked out. A tall locked gate in the car park was what I was greeted with in the dark. Was unsure if I was in the correct location, perhaps this was a rear entrance?. No information for after hours arrivals, no phone number to call. My only option was to call Hotels.com and plead with lady on other end of phone to try and locate someone within the hotel. The only saving grace was the gentleman who eventually came and let me in very apologetic and quickly showed me to my dated but very clean room. He did mention that Hotel.com never obtains info on intended arrival time etc.
