Verynice, clean hotel with very helpful staff .

Pros: Swimming pool, hot tub, breakfast, friendly staff.
Location: Cody rodeo. Yellowstone National Park. Animals all over Cody each evening.
Swimming pool and hot tub are great. Location is wonderful. One of best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Overpriced and Unfriendly

Posted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Location was close to rodeo. Room was clean and beds comfortable.
Cons: Description of experience about covers the poor staff attitude toward their guests. It is like, "give me you dough and now leave".
Location: Cody is packed with history offerings as well as Irma Hotel, Buffalo Bill Museum, Heart Mountain, fun shopping, and a gateway town for Yellowstone.
Rustic Western appeal with animal mounts does not overcome the lack of friendliness/lack of smiles with staff. Morning breakfast did not include water and each morning I had to ask for this to be available. Juice dispenser did not properly work. Such unfriendly atmosphere is not acceptable for "guests".

Just an OK hotel

Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Lighting in room. Dark and dreary. Bathroom area no convenient. Breakfast could be better. Hallway and room had musty smell. Need whiter looking sheet
Location: Fine location. Didn't stay to do anything
Staff not overly friendly. Breakfast seating great. Entrance inviting.

Nice hotel just on the outskirts of town.

Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: The warm continental breakfast and the pool area for my kids.
Cons: Taking down some of the stuffed animals on the walls and in the lobby.
Location: The rodeo was near by and the downtown area was fairly close.
The Americinn seemed to be fairly new. It had too many stuffed animals in the lobby/breakfast area... The hotel room was nice and clean and the pool area was nice for our kids to swim in. The breakfast was great! Waffles, biscuits/gravy, fresh fruit and real dishes and silverware to eat with. The morning staff person was very nice and personable.

Pricey for what you get, but a nice place to stay

Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: We liked the swimming pool and the front desk clerk that showed some magic tricks to the kiddos.
Cons: Needs an elevator - and more room in the breakfast room. Both mornings we had to stand while we ate.
Location: Within walking distance to Bubba's BBQ. Not much else around it but other hotels... this hotel is not downtown!
Nice typically-sized rooms- clean and comfortable. No space for a cot or sleeping bag on the floor. No elevator either. Hotel appeared really lovely on the outside, but it was just your basic hotel room on the inside. Breakfast was nice and had some hot items, but there was nowhere to sit down to enjoy it. Front desk was friendly.

Amazing as always!

Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: Perfectly located, not right in the middle of town.
Cons: The only thing I found that could be improved on was the morning coffee. Tasted like water more than coffee.
Location: Cody nightly rodeos are a must for any visitor coming through. Our family loved it!
This is a wonderful motel to stay at. We were traveling through on a 3 week vacation. This motel ranks near the top of all of the motels that we stayed in during our journey. Our room was very clean and the facility is exceptional!
