“never again”
The cabin had an awful stench to it. It was crammed, the line up of cabins had a very military feel to it. We were happy to leave and I would not have wanted to stay another night. Cody overall is better to avoid- apart from the museum.
“Made a Mistake”
I booked into the cabin I thought we had stayed in on a previous trip to Cody. I had made a mistake, and these cabins were old, cramped, and not convenient. The beds were very comfy, but the cabin was so small we had to step out to change our mind! It reminded me of a cabin we stayed in when I was a child in Yellowstone, 50 years ago!! It is located behind a major hotel with a dining room, so food was wonderful. Air conditioning units were placed right above your head between the two queen beds. Believe me, the cabins located on the outskirts of town where we had stayed before far outdid these cabins. We were in Cody for two days, and switched to those cabins the second morning. What a difference, and cheaper too. I would not recommend these cabins to anyone, especially if they have children, there is just no room in them.
“Dissapointed”
The cabins are surrounding a larger chain hotel. You are extended pool privledges at the hotel, but not the continental breakfast or coffee in the morning. The cabins are clean, well kept and were perfect for my husband and myself along with my parents. We rented a 2 bedroom cabin with a shared bathroom in between the bedrooms. We had to work out a nighttime routine for the bathroom since it was in between, but for 1 night it was not a problem. The other situation we had was our cabin was next to the hotel parking lot. There were large tour buses parked right next to our cabin so we could hear the buses running during the evening and starting up in the morning. It was warm and the air was on, so it drown out some of the noise. Had the air not been on, it would have made for a noisy cabin selection. All in all, it suited our needs, but would check out the Cowboy Village on the other end of town next time around.
“lots of walking”
Must be some better ones close by
“Cozy little cabin”
We enjoyed our stay. The arrangement of the cabin was occasionally challenging -- through one bedroom, through the bathroom, to get to the second bedroom. A bed right against the wall is a bit challenging for us seniors. But the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We were well rested the next morning. The people in the office / gift shop were very pleasant.
