“Nice , Simple and Clean”
Decent accomodation, clean rooms, courteous staff. Priced right, nice and simple sleeping accomodation.
“Pricey, but overall worth it”
This Holiday Inn is super convienient to downtown Cody (with all it's shopping and restaurants). The front desk staff was always friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I think the only downside would be the room rate and the price of meals at the hotel. But if you're going for a fun vacation and want a comfortable and are willing to pay for it, that shouldn't be a problem!
“Not impressed”
This was the most expensive place we stayed on a 10-day vacation and it wasn't nearly as nice as the cheaper places we stayed. We were put in an older separate building behind the hotel on the second floor and we had to go downstairs to get ice and go outside and walk all the way around the building to get to the restaurant in the hotel. We requested a refrigerator and one was put in our room right away, but it kept freezing the soda we had in there, even though I kept turning down the setting. There are no elevators in this hotel and it only has an outdoor swimming pool in a place where it's only usable for about 3 months out of the year.
“The Hotel was fine..the service was poor to fair..”
I have no specific complaints about the hotel, other than the fact that the desk staff acted annoyed about any request we had. My cell phone was misplaced...they suggested I track down the hotel maid to see if she had it. When we went back to the room, my phone was there. Several hours later, we realized we were missing a personal pillow. Nope, they couldn't help us. Housekeeping said they didn't have it. No sense of serving the public here...
“great experience”
We were very pleased with our stay, the hotel staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly. It was clean and comfortable and was a great experience. We had never used expedia before, but were happy with this experience and will definetly do it again!
“Not bad”
Friendly staff. No refrigerator in room which was kind of surprising. Very few available outlets in the room (I think we had one in the room, one more in the bathroom). Our reservation was a little messed up as they had us checking out a day early, but we showed the Expedia conformation # and that straightened things out. Also, United Air cancelled our flight (with no compensation for room/board), so we arrived a day late. Oddly, our room wasn't ready when we arrived, even though it was a day later than expected (we'd called ahead and told them, so maybe they rented it out). The manager was very understanding about the situation and comp'd the day for us; I just received the reimbursement today. The cleaning staff left rags in our room more than once... kind of disturbing but not hard to just throw them away. About standard for the price, maybe a little underwhelming. The service staff was great except for that hiccup in the beginning, but it was kind of a confusing situation anyway so I can't entirely fault them. I can and will fault the airline for the confusion and hardship in that regard.
“Unreasonable if without Yellowstone”
When we are going to have a trip to Yellowstone, Cody, a city approximately 80km distant from the east entrance, would be an option where we look for an accommodation. To be honest, hotels near Yellowstone are generally overpriced. We have to pay a rate for 2 or 3 star hotels at which Las Vegas can offer 4 star or more hotels. This hotel was not an exception. Weaknesses are no elevator, relatively dated room, hall or front, no free breakfast and unreasonable rate for the hotel level compared to those of other cities. Additionally, I had pay breakfast, but it was just like free breakfast served in Best Western Hotel, services were good, though. Strengths are free coffee service and complimentary internet and neighborhood where we can find some restaurants within walking distance.
“will stay there again when in Cody”
Breakfast at this hotel is very good and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly.
“Holiday Inn, Cody. Very nice.”
Located just minutes from the Cody Airport this hotel was convenient, clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was big enough to swim in and was actually CLEAN! Very pleasant and helpful check-in staff.
“Where we stay any time we're in Cody”
Enjoyed our stay, had good meals in the hotel dining room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. As they say, it's all good.
