convenient location in heart of Cody, WY.

Pros: Convenient location, clean, large rooms. New rooms have micro-fridge which was nice.
Cons: No elevator. Not convenient for guests to get luggage to second or third floors.
Location: Most restaurants, shops and attractions are within walking distance. Buffalo Bill Museum a little far to walk, but could be done.
Able to walk to most attractions in Cody. Currently being renovated. Renovated rooms much nicer than those not yet worked on.

Good Stopover to Yellowstone

Pros: Location was great.
Location: Location was great. We left the car parked at the hotel and was easily able to walk around town to restaurants and shops.
The hotel was easy to find, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Many hotels today have a compimentary breakfast, this one did not. I guess it's because they have a restaurant on the property. Other hotels we stayed at that had their own restaurant gave discounts on breakfast. This would have been nice. One bad point noticed: We decided to kill some time by sitting in the bar and having a few drinks. While there, the bartender ran out of Stella glasses. She proceeded to open a new box of glasses and put them in the glass rack without first washing them. You could see the glasses had a cloudy look to them, especially after she washed some others that came back from the dining room and hung them next to the new ones.

Pros: Modern finishings in the bathroom.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Short walk to the shops on the main street. About 1 hour drive to Yellowstone park east entrance
My room had been recently renovated. The bathroom was finished very nicely. I found the service staff to be very friendly and helpful.

This hotel, very recently renovated, was a great stay. The rooms were the cleanest of any I've stayed at in the past few years, new, terrific amenitites, and the staff was a delight. The price was quite reasonable - Would definitely stay here again.

Big hotel but well run . Amazing breakfast. Lovely room . Large pool . Short walk into town . Dont miss the Buffalo Bill Museum , give yourself plenty of time . The gun fight was well done and good fun .Nothing was too much trouble at the hotel we felt really cared for . It was great value and I would stay there any time I got the chance.

Lumpy pillows make for a sleepless night.
Posted Jan 28, 2012
The hotel was neat and clean, but the tub wouldn't drain. The pillows were very lumpy. The service was very good and they responded quickly to any problems. Even with the heat turned down it seemed too warm.
