Easy exit to Yellowstone entry.Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Ease of access
Cons: Could use a refrigerator in room.
Location: Cody museum within walking distance. Dining is further away, but easy to access.
Nice hotel close to Cody museum. Easy exit to Yellowstone entry with good parking at room used. Service was amiable and breakfast adequate.

Fair priced motel in an overpriced market.Posted Oct 2, 2014
Cons: Continue with upgrades to furniture, windows, etc.
Location: A good place to stay on the way to Yellowstone but not as a home base for the park, too far away.
This is a 50's style motel that is being upgraded by the owners. The room was clean but some of the furniture needs to be replaced. The bathroom has been updated and I think the owners will continue to update other areas of the rooms with time. We looked at other rooms at the chain hotels in the area but the prices were outrageous for a small town which is not close to Yellowstone (yes they are only 53 miles from the east gate to the park but over a hundred miles from any of the attractions of the park) so I don't understand the prices. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, nothing special but it was kept well stocked.

Visit YellowstonePosted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, ample breakfast and good rate.
We had a wonderful time in Cody visiting the Cody Museum. We frequented Granny's Restaurant and enjoyed the food and friendly staff. Our hotel was both comfortable and clean, breakfast was ample. We had a very nice dinner at Bubba's Barbecue! Everyone in town made us feel welcome. Yellowstone Park is absolutely gorgeous.

Basic but comfortable in CodyPosted Sep 13, 2014
A throwback in time motel (think 70's) but had a very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and all at a great price. If you are really just looking for a good nights sleep with basic accommodations this place will do you well. Would stay at this inn again.

OverpricedPosted Sep 8, 2014
Cons: Beds, cleanliness, attitude, quiet.
Location: Location was nice.
The motel says no smoking property, there was ashtrays outside of the rooms right by the doors. We had stains on our sheets and long hairs in the bathroom. My husband walked down to the breakfast and came back to the room, we went out to eat as he said they were serving cold cereal and bioled eggs. The coffee tasted like salt. When we checked in we was suprised at how rude the lady at the desk was. I was charged twice on my credit card. The place is entirely overpriced and not what they portray online. They say "No Pets", not sure why. Newer motels that don't charge as much allow family pets Was supposed to be 2 queen beds and we had doubles. You could see light all the way around the door going outside.

Rediscovering CodyPosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Most convenient motel for us to visit Cody Museum; clean, quiet, & quite adequate. A bit pricey for a sleeping place, but it was the weekend. Front desk staff were very helpful

Never againPosted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Front desk staff was rude, demanding payment over the phone before we arrived or our confirmed reservation would be given away. We tried to explain that we were in the car on our way, would show up in a couple hours, but it did not make a difference. Upon arriving, we were told that they had to do this in order to make sure that they were paid for the room because they had been stiffed twice before. (Apparently, everyone from here on out suffers for two people...) Room was okay, but found some hairs in the shower/tub and the free breakfast was marginal. Thin walls, lots of noise from motorcycles.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: We had a double room that was surprisingly, a two bedroom model. A nice surprise that meant I didn't have to sleep in the same room as my children.
Cons: The wifi and breakfast needs to be improved but the staff were wonderful
Location: Buffalo bill centre was next door and that was fantastic.
Sunrise Motor Inn was exactly what I expected. It was clean and the staff were goog. The continental breakfast could be improved as the selection was minimal and the wifi was very temperamental but otherwise o good place to stay on a budget.
