My room was partly remodeled but the unfinished portion looked dirty and unatractive. The furnishings were in poor shape.The hotel is convenient to the Buffalo Bill Center and the art show tent.

This is an older motel that Hawkins back to the sixties. I was pleased with the room and happy with it's conditions. I was put in mind of my family's travels when I was young.

Affordable in Cody
Really the only affordable place that I would stay at in Cody. Friendly staff, good location walkable to the Buffalo Bill Museums, safe and clean. The rooms are old and musty smelling, but they are clean. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed being convenient to everything. It was clean with nice service. The breakfast was really hardly anything. If one can eat cold cereal o.k. Husband ate muffins and cereal. I had to get my breskfast by buying at Walmart. Could have used boiled eggs and maybe fruit juice along with the muffins and bread. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Near Cody Museum.....only good thing One star ... bathroom sink would not drain...could not really use ...bathtube would slowly drain when showering..leaving you standing in water... walls peeling needing repainting..floor questionable-dirty... dead roaches seen on floor heat registers..Breakfast?? ...bread to make toast..2 small trays of mini muffins..plus cereal..coffee...One star above a dump...

The next door residents were very loud! The screen was damaged so if we opened the window for fresh air flies got in. The shower had mold on the walls.

The room smelt bad. The tub did not drain, so as the water level rises there was hair coming out of the drain. The bed was not level, so my head was lower than my feet. The pillows were so flat that I still needed to build my head up with towels and blankets to level the bed off enough to sleep on. The room was hot, as the air conditioner was loud and did not cool good. I can not rate the breakfast, but after reading the reviews and looking at the breakfast set up, it looked bad. The only good thing about this room was that it was clean enough.

The hair dryer didn’t work. Tried to do laundry but 3 of the washers were out of order and the third one didn’t work. Room smelled a bit moldy. Great location.

The room appeared clean. When we arrived at 5, someone had just taken a bowel movement in the bathroom, leaving a streak and strong stench. The beds are super dusty underneath and there were stains on the cover blanket as my boys prefer to sleep with these. The breakfast options were plain white bread, 2 types of mini muffins, 2 types of cereal, brutal bagged porridge and coffee. I had to ask twice to have the milk cannisters filled such that if you plan on booking this hotel for the breakfast, there is a McDonald's nearby. Go to McDonald's! The pool has no heater and is surrounded by shade, feeling like mountain water. The 3 queen beds were nicely laid out but with exchange rate we paid about $270. We would have booked elsewhere based on breakfast and the pool. The front administration was from Albania, the female on her phone and the man just sitting, telling me that he won the lottery. Not impressed that one of them took a dump in our room prior to arrival. Plus: there were enough shampoo, conditioner and soap options for five as opposed to the standard 1 for all of us. Beds were comfortable. Room was nice can mpared to outdated exterior.

Strong Mildew/Mold smell
When booking the room the pictures looked like a clean room to stay in for our travel. Upon arrival and opening the door, the room had a powerful mildew/moldy smell to it that couldn’t be avoided. We opened the door, turned on the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the A/C unit. Even tried to clean the room but the smell didn’t go away. Would not recommend staying here unless mildew/mold smell does not bother you.

Dirty and smelling with cigarettes. I’m not sure how this place got good reviews. Room was dirty and bathroom was worse. If I got there earlier to look for another place I would never stay.

Old properties can be nice if maintained but this place is terrible. We had a room with 3 queen beds, believe me, its nothing like the pictures you see online. It was back by the pool area. No landscapers here, weeds growing, the chair outside our door had the webbing ripped. Entry door shows daylight, some serious weather stripping and adjustment needed. There was no sort of table in this room, just 3 chairs pushed together, photos show the filth on them. Walls were filthy, our sink faucets and mirrors looked like they hadn't been cleaned. There were 2 sinks but just a 3 light bulb strip above and one of those lights was burnt out, pretty tough to put your makeup on, so dark. The tub also looked unclean but may just have been so stained it wouldn't come clean anymore. Dropped a water bottle and when looked under bed to get it, more filth! No closet, just a metal rack type thing with a couple shelves. Electrical outlets were falling out of wall and had extenders plugged into that so you could plug more stuff in. Floor was somewhat squishy in area's, you could tell it may have had water damage. Drapes missing hanging hooks. One of receptcles by one of beds didn't work to plus charger into. No pics on walls, just hangars where they once were. Tiny TV hanging on wall. Overall extremely dirty, would never stay here again and that cost me $250 for the nite.
