Highly impressed with Hampton Inn @ RiverstonePosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Great pool room, tile to the ceiling. Extremely comfortable, inviting, and spacious breakfast seating area. I did not feel crowded or rushed.
Cons: I would have to loved to wrap up in a soft couch throw on the balcony, but I did use the extra blanket provided, and I was happy and warm with that.
Location: Running trails, the river, great views, the movie theater, pottery painting, shopping, dining, all within a 5 minute walk.
I was thrilled to find my first visit at the Hampton Inn in Coeur D'Alene offered far more than I expected. Beautiful, comfortable rooms are a given, as is a nice pool, workout room, and warm breakfast. Here is what is NOT 'a given': running and skating trails two steps out of the parking lot. Within a 5 minute walk was Outdoor Escape where I was able to purchase a sports bra and tights and went for a run. Also a 7 minute walk away was the Ugly Fish were we went for dinner twice because it was so great, intimate, yummy, and close to the hotel. It was great NOT to drive back from dinner! The Regal Cinemas played movies all day and my husband and I went to our first matinee in years! Came back to the hotel for a soak in the hot tub, and coffee on our balcony overlooking the river. It was a wonderful weekend getaway!

Perfect location for exploring Coeur d'AlenePosted Sep 24, 2014
We went to Coeur d'Alene to explore it and the surrounding areas. The Hampton has very easy access to I 90 and other major hiways. The hotel looks to be very new and in an area that is being developed with new shops, resturants, and various housing projects. The first impression from walking in is very pleasing and welcoming. We chose a room that had a balcony and so glad we did. Beds and pillows are very comfortable.

Great location, nice clean roomsPosted Sep 19, 2014
Great location next to river and short walk to stores and restaurants. Hotel and rooms in like new condition. Comfortable beds and awesome free breakfast daily. And if you get room 206 I left a case of beer in the fridge for you, accidentally of course

Very nice new hotel near river and restaurantsPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: New, very good design, beautifully decorated, hot buffet breakfast included.
Location: Several good restaurants within walking distance. Walking trails beside river.
My wife and I stayed in a King Suite. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a small kitchenette. Included was a hot buffet breakfast and 24 hour coffee. This hotel is not a full service hotel as there is no attached restaurant, room service, stores, valet parking, etc.

Treated as second class citizensPosted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The attitude of the two guys at the front desk. The breakfast. The coffee.
Location: Bardannay was a fun restaurant. Very pretty on the lake.
Upon arrival at Hampton Suites the desk clerk looked at our reservation and started tapping at his calculator. I asked for a quiet room whereupon his colleague said "you booked through Expedia". I asked whether this was a disadvantage, and they said "Yes, you booked through a third party, we don't know what you paid or what you requested". They allocated a room on the second floor (I had requested a high floor because of the views". The view was of a roof, wall and 4 pipes. A noise was emitting from the pipes. We went back to the desk and asked if a room with a view was available. They said "no" as they were full. As people were still checking in, we felt we were treated poorly from the outset. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not appetising and there were paper plates and plastic knives and forks and no healthy options except for a limited amount of tired looking fruit.

Nice place to stayPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Location, accommodations, value, pool.
Cons: Check the pool before morning.
Location: Fairly quiet surroundings. Spent our weekend at the Silverwood theme park, it was fabulous. Look forward to returning next year.
Friendly staff, clean accommodations, and peacefull surroundings as it is not in the middle of the downtown area. Good breakfast selections. Only downside was have to use the pool net to fish 3 band aids out the pool before swimming at 8:00 in the morning. We would definitely return

Clean, quiet and luxuriousPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable, like a warm hug.
Location: Coeur d'Alene is an easy to navigate city, with beautiful lakes, golf, and shopping.
Check-in was quick and friendly. The room was large, clean, and well appointed. The beds were luxurious, could have snuggled in bed all day! The pool and fitness areas were clean, equipment was well maintained. Hot breakfast was good. Overall, a great experience.
