Resort City DisappointmentPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: It was located downtown close to the dinner cruise we went on.
First of all, we reserved a room with a king sized bed as it was our wedding anniversary. However, when we checked in we were given a room with 2 full sized beds instead. We were told "there were no guarantees". The room itself, although clean, was small and dated. We were startled by the noise the pipes made when other guests ran the water. The sink did not drain well. By the time I was finished washing my face, the sink was filled to the brim almost overflowing. The room was not comfortably climate controlled, the air conditioner was either blowing full blast or it was hot in the room. This made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. And finally, the continental breakfast included coffee and sweet rolls. This hotel was very overpriced for the quality of the accommodations. We will not stay here again, nor would we recommend it.

spartan, but well-locatedPosted May 25, 2014 on Hotels
spartan, small rooms. Breakfast essentially nonexistent. But reasonable price and well located. Easy walk to Coeur d'Alene restaurants, etc.

Very clean convenient, management was excellent. Only down side was traffic noise but was on the Main Street so was to be expected.

The rooms were nice and it was close to down town. Continental breakfast didn't open till later than we wanted to hang around.

Comfortable, friendly hotel in downtownPosted Sep 10, 2012 on Hotels
Really nice, quiet little hotel, right on the edge of downtown Coeur D'Alene. Walk about one block to all the downtown shops and eateries...really fun! Very friendly staff. Parking lot is a squeeze, but parking space in well-lit, safe area. Nothing fancy, just nice and clean, and a good value for the money.
Wonderful Stay - Close to Downtown StripPosted Jul 31, 2012 on Hotels
Nice little motel near the heart of Couer d'Alene. Very clean and well maintained, with up-to-date rooms, and very easy walking distance to the heart of the city. The staff was very nice and helpful. Surrounding area was good quality with plenty of restaurant and food service locations. Would stay there again or recommend it to anyone wanting to be near downtown area. Little bit pricey, but not more than most other decent hotel/motels in the area during the mid-summer months. Pool would have been nice, but not a requirement with the lake so close.
