My kids loved the 24 hour pool.

Pros: Well the size of the rooms, and the pool.
Cons: The free breakfast. We went in the breakfast room and there was nothing left. A couple buses of students went in before us.
Location: Shopping and Silverwood wasn't too far away. Also Golden Corral was very close.
beds were great. Nice big rooms. Even the hallways were big, no being smashed against the wall when you meet someone. Pool was really nice, my kids loved it, I couldn't find another motel with the 24 hour pool. We will come back again.

Nice clean Quiet place to stay

Hi we have stayed here several times now passing through the area. It is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Staff is always friendly and breakfast is decent. Good value

Disappointing...

Pros: Friendly night desk employee. Comfortable bed & awesome soft pillow!
Cons: Please, please clean! I don't want to stay in someone else's dust & bathtub residue - do you?

Traveling across the country, I decided to book a room online in Coeur d'Alene. My reservation was ready when I got there, not 15 minutes later. Bed was comfortable, sheets clean, good night's sleep - but when I awakened, I realized that the room was not clean! There was a substantial film of dust on everything from lamps & table tops to the hair dryer. It was evident that the mirrors had not been cleaned in some time. The kitchen area sink & counter showed evidence of previous use that hadn't been cleaned up. When I took the shampoo & conditioner into the shower, there was still a lid from a previous shampoo or conditioner on the back corner of the tub. When I checked out, the desk clerk did not ask me how my stay was, so I offered my disappointment. She said she would let the manager know. Didn't ask if I wanted to speak with the manager. These are all small things, however, they are required by housekeeping. I have to wonder what else was NOT done. I will not be staying at this Shilo again.

Average Hotel

Pros: Large rooms.
Cons: Cleanliness and updating the bedspreads.
Location: Location is central, however you do hear freeway traffic. Lots to do around there.
This hotel is very basic. However, the good thing about this hotel are the rooms are very large. Our included two double beds, a dinning table with two chairs, a large dresser and still had LOTS of room around everything to put your luggage and still have floor space. The bedspreads are old as is most fixtures and even the doors. The elevator is slow. It's just a basic older hotel, but decent for the money.

Experience was fine other than would get a room with no one below us to complain that we were waking them up when especially at Christmas time we were in be watching movies for two days....can make sence of it

Nice hotel close to shopping and christmas cruise

Good Hotel for the Money

We stayed here for 2 nights over Thanksgiving. The hotel offers a good value if you don't want to spend a lot of money. The room was fine and the breakfast served was pretty good. For the money, this hotel is worth what you spend.

Good hotel for the price

We stayed here over Thanksgiving 2014 and found no problems with the hotel. The morning breakfast was fine and the amenities met our needs. For the price, you can't beat this hotel....it needs some updates, but that would then up the price. We were very satisfied.
