The cleaning people open our doors when we never checking out at 9 am . I had to go complain to the front counter. Last time we stay their in August we didn’t have hot water. We where told when we came back they are going to give us extra discount. The girl in front counter replied by saying” you already getting them cheap so why you complain.

I called ahead to verify a working hot tub. I was told yes, they had one and it works. Of course when I got there it was ice cold. Lying to guests just to get them to reserve a room is bad business.

I called on Friday morning, asked if the pool & hot tub were operational. Was told they would be on Saturday. Arrived at 2pm on Saturday to a sign that read “pool down for maintenance”. Very disappointing to the kids. Stayed here once before this year and had the same problems. Won’t stay here again

All was fine except that the motel information sheet needs to be updated. Listed TV stations were not available. Also, a wiki needs to be installed so that the TV guide will appear.

We booked this hotel due to its location. We were there for the Dalton Defenders Day reenactment. All the activities were a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice - the only problem was that the hot tub wasn't working - no hot water. Clean comfortable room with a decent breakfast.

Not my favorite Best Western. The room appeared tidy and the breakfast was good. But the hot tub didn't work, the pool didn't look overly clean, and there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. ( I suspect a plumbing issue somewhere.) Also, the location is fairly close to some well-used train tracks, and there is a fair amount of construction in the area. Neither of these are the fault of the hotel, but traveler beware, this is not the place for a restful night or morning.

Decent room - don't use the pool!
The room was comfortable and not bad for the price for a last minute state. However, the pool was really dirty and ruined my experience. Walked into the pool and felt slime all over the bottom and sides. Water was a "strange" color too, plus bugs floating around.

I like the layout and its nice place to stay. When i checked in i was given a room that already had someone in it. The person at the front desk was very sorry for the mix up and did put me in a different room right away. However, the TV in that room did not work correctly (Could not change the channel) I let the person at the front desk know and they did try to get it fixed. My options were late that night or the next day or moving to a different room. I choose to move. For the trouble, I was upgrade to a suite. Overall nice hotel, person running the front desk when i arrived was very nice and helpful.

The lighting in the stairwells was very dim. Use the elevators. Very clean, and the rooms were spacious. A jet-tub in the room...large walk-in shower...huge vanity sink area. Typical new hotel/motel....not sound proof....but the stay here was very good.

The hotel in principle is very good BUT!!!! Who had the bright idea to put the handicapped rooms into the 3rd floor in a hotel with just one elevater and the managemant being fully aware that the elevator has issues working on days with high traffic? Accoridng to staff this is a known issue and on days like memorial weekend where high traiffic is to be expected of course the lift did not work in the morning, actually evne staff members got stuck in it for 20 minutes while trying to get it back to work. this is unacceptable!
