This is a hotel/motel directly on the Pacific Highway halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. So it, and the adjacent string of similar motels, attracts those people with vehicles, whether they be tourists or people on business. We arrived on the Greyhound bus which stopped directly opposite the hotel. Although initially it seemed very convenient, we soon found out that Coff's Harbour really requires the use of a car to get around.
There were some supermarkets shops bars and restaurants within walking distance but the incessant roar of the huge trucks on the adjacent highway was off-putting. The hotel itself was fine. Service was helpful and with a smile.
The room, although dated, contained all the necessary items.
The hotel, indeed Coff's Harbour itself, would be fine for an overnight stop if you had a car. I would not recommend a longer stay.
