“Days Inn Colby March 2011”

This was my second stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and well organized. The room was clean and well prepared for my stay. The pool area was clean and we could use it with the kids. The breakfast is overseeable but I figure that this is standard. The check in process was fast. Overall good value for money. Looking forward to my stay in April.

“Only rent this if you don't mind sleeping in a chair.”

Days Inn gave us a room with a queen bed and a chair for 3 people to sleep in. Our reservation was for 3 adults and they had shown on their computer that it was to be one double bed. They would not change the room when others were available unless we paid the difference between the costs of the rooms - even with our copy of the reservation showing the reservation was for 3 adults. The desk clerk would have liked to have changed it but he said the owner told him not to make any changes. The desk clerk was relatively new to the job and he was afraid of the owner. He called the owner shortly after midnight since we were not willing to take the room and the owner was glad for us to rent another room or go somewhere else and let him collect the money for the room. There was no way we could have a room with beds for 3 adults unless we were willing to pay more money.

“Very Average”

This hotel was average, no other way to describe it. There wasn't anything especially bad. There were no highlights either. If all you need is sleep then stay there.

“A nice stay”

We stayed overnight while traveling to CO. My first impression wasn't overly impressed, but overall we had a great stay. The beds were very comforatable and the air conditioning unit in the room worked and ran better than any hotel that I've ever stayed in. The pool was small, but worked well for our family and it was warm!

“The front desk”

The hotel in Colby is staffed by the best front desk clerk I have ever encountered. Her name: Michelle. She was patient, unflappable, courteous, went way out of her way to see that her guests were given the best of care.

“Great place to take the kids!”

I had a wonderful stay at the Days Inn in Colby. Their pool is great and my kids really enjoyed themselves. The continental breakfast had many choices and everything was fresh and delicious. Thank you very much!
