Great character in CabanacondePosted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
We decided to stay in Cabanaconde so we could visit the Colca canyon. Kuntur Wasi was an ideal place for that purpose. The rooms are spacious and have character. The food in the restaurant is also very good. Helpful and friendly staff too.

Best place to stay in CabanacondePosted May 9, 2013
Location: One of the best viewpoints of the Colca Canyon is just an easy 600 m walk away.
This hotel has an incredible view of the town and the Colca valley. As there weren't many people staying at the time, our room was upgraded for free to one of their beautiful suites. Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced.

Comfort in Cabanaconde.Posted Aug 20, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff
Location: Great place to stay if you want to visit Colca Canyon. Much closer than the town of Chivay.
A charming hotel in Cabanaconde. Great location -- you can start a hike to the canyon right from your hotel. The staff was wonderful. Although the rooms didn't have heat, they provide several blankets for the beds, a portable heater upon request, and they brought up hot water bottles for our beds before bedtime so we were toasty warm. Plenty of hot water for showers. We had a porch outside of our room with a wonderful view of the mountains.
