Beautiful scenery, warm welcome

Posted Jan 2, 2015 on Hotels.com
A warm welcome awaits at this lodge set in the beautiful countryside of north Antrim, just a short drive from the Causeway Coast, the Dark Hedges (as seen in Game of Thrones) and the Bushmills distillery. Very well appointed room with all amenities, underfloor heating and stunning views, as well as a living room with a wide range of DVDs, comfy sofas and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Cooked breakfast to suit all tastes while looking out over the local stream. Only two small niggles are that it can be a little tricky to find in the dark without a satnav, and you will have to drive to find dinner (though there's a small convenience store at the top of Agivey Rd. for basics). The proprietor was also very helpful with suggestions of local sights.

very good B&B

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: clean and quiet
Cons: As always with B& Bs atmosphere is better with other guests staying. Only running two rooms currently and we were the only people staying.
Location: Londonderry and Giants Cause way et al all very close.Belfast is only an hour away as well.
Stayed three nights whilst exploring the northern coastline if Northern Ireland. Room very as were all the facilities in the house. Hostess was very helpful , friendly and a good cook.

Very pleasant and helpful owner. Carol was a great help with local sights. Great room and the entire B&B was spotless. The buildings are set back off the road and the delightful rural surroundings made for a peaceful & pleasant stay. Thank you Carol.

Stunning home with 5* comfort

Posted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Agivy lodge is a stunning home with all the comforts of a 5* hotel. The lovely owner bent over backwards to help us as we were arriving early for a wedding. We could change in our room which was really lovely. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made on request. Looking out of our window onto the beautiful countryside was a delight and very restful. I hope to return to this truly gorgeous house and can't recommend it enough.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

Posted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: The rooms were immaculate Breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Location: Conveniently placed for the North Antrim Coast - Bushmills, Giant's Causeway, Portrush etc.
We stayed for a couple of nights at the Agivey Lodge. The room was very modern, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was excellent and more than ample. We were made to feel very welcome and would not hesitate to stay there again. Would highly recommend the Agivey Lodge in preference to any of the hotels in that area.

First visit to Northern Ireland, and what a stay! Gorgeous lodge, new build with quality fittings. Excellent host, light airey room, excellent style and standards. Cleanliness beyond comparison, and a breakfast fit for Kings! Very highly recommended, was our first, but not our last, time. Thank you.

Excellente chambre d'hôte

Posted Aug 15, 2013
