New and clean. NO auto HandiC door opener on main doors??? code violations NO door closers on rooms (fire regulations??) fix these issues. I need hot eggs and sausage for breakfast. too many carbs for a diabetic person.

After reading some questionable reviews, I was very apprehensive about staying here. We had a wedding reception close by & didn't want to worry about driving. We were very pleasantly surprised. We just needed a place to get ready & shower/ sleep. Everything was perfectly fine. Rooms are pretty large (for 2 queen bed) Rooms were quiet, even by the interstate. It is a dated hotel so if you're standards are crazy high, you'll want to keep driving. But I would stay there again if we needed to. Do wish they would have turned the air on, even just a bit, but it cooled off quickly. Stayed 09.30.23

Staff was great, bathroom was not
The staff were wonderful and the room was acceptable. However, the bathroom floor was visibly dirty (rag picture was from one swipe of the floor) and both the sink and the shower would not drain properly. Standing in backed up shower water is gross and the sink pivot rod was broken so the stopper would not raise.

Nice hotel and great staff. Extremely clean. Great job. On the hotels website it says it has a full breakfast. The web site should be updated to say it’s a complimentary breakfast.

All good here
Very nice staff, friendly and hard working. Rooms were a bit run down, but clean. Especially liked the small bar/peninsulas between the beds that created a bit of privacy.

The night manager at the front desk was friendly, but that's where my positive comments end. We checked in after Midnight, exhausted, and unpacked in our room. Shortly thereafter, we realized there was a cockroach on the wall. I took a picture of it. We threw our stuff back in our bags and went back to the lobby. The manager had left the desk, so I left my keycard and we left. I didn't really feel like calling after him; I needed to find a clean bed to sleep in, and it wasn't going to be there. I called the customer care line seeking a refund, and they directed me back to Expedia. Expedia reached out for my refund and it was refused. I was shocked at the sight of the roach, and am very disappointed that a refund won't be given even though I have proof that my room wasn't suitable for someone to stay in. Won't be staying in a Microtel again.

Quick one night stay.
Comfortable hotel. Lots of road noise from the nearby interstate. Carpet in the room could use a good shampoo. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

This was a hotel just off interstate in the middle of cornfields. Was older and it showed in areas in the room. The staff was nice and in general was a well kept facility. There was a McDonalds close by but absolutely nothing else. We chose to leave and find another hotel. It would be good for contractors to stay long term.

This hotel was just what we needed while in town racing in Knoxville. The only complaint I have is the beds were quite uncomfortable and the bedding needs to be updated and replaced. If you are looking for a clean hotel and nice owners, this is your place.

Overall a good place
Stayed the night before heading to the airport in the morning. We happened to be staying around the time of the high school state track and field so every hotel was full and we ended up having to stay here. It wasn’t bad at all. It wasn’t amazing by any means but it got the job done. The lady at the front desk was very nice and we didn’t have any issues while staying here. It is right off the highway and finding the road to the hotel is a little difficult but once you find it, it’s nice and easy. Like I said before it isn’t a luxurious hotel or anything but not a bad place to spend a night. Beds were not super comfortable but serviceable. I would stay here again. You’re getting what you pay for.
