“Centricly located historic , historic, traditional hotel.”
Save, and pleasant, place to vacation.
“Great Location and Haunted”
Very old and nicely renovated hotel in the middle of Downtown Colima where small noises and the legend that the owner walks the hotel at night (he has been dead for many years) may be a little unnerving. If you are a late sleeper, find another hotel as the giant church bell across the street starts clanging at 6:00AM. Late night food and drink on the patio was nice. We had the opportunity to see the former owner walk across the hall. Very exciting.
“not impressed with the bedding”
the receptionist the two evening workers were extremely nice the restaurant personnel were very nice the food was very nice one thing that was not good was the mattress on the beds was extremly hard as a rock was scheduled to stay 10 days but shorten the stay to two cause couldn't bear the pain on my back the hotel clerk tried her best to accomodate us on different room with softer bed but, was not able to we would of stayed lthe duration if the situation was different -disapointed.

Probably the nicest overall hotel experience I've had in over 10 years of travel to Mexico (or anywhere else) Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and were very helpful with everything from locating markets around town to advising which shops had the best prices. Everyone patiently tolerated my not-so-good Spanish and helped out with English when needed. They helped us arrange a volcano tour with Jupiter from AdmireMexico Tours in Comala, which was very good. The hotel was immaculate. Rooftop pool was wonderful-not big, but who cares? Excellent location right on the zocalo too. Where else would you want to stay?

We had a great time" staff were courteous and helpful, the location on the town's central square was simply perfect, the art was interesting, as were the poems on the walls (English translations needed help, though), the pool on the roof, and the sidewalk cafe/ What more could we ask?
