“Won't go bac”
The room had stains on the floor. Curtain was torn. View was horrible. The pool did not look too good, was afraid to take a swim. Staircase was filty. Need to remodel the whole motel.
“Not what I expected”
This hotel was further away from my destination than I expected. In addition, the neighborhood was pretty sketchy. The a/c didn't work and the towel rack fell every time I grabbed a towel. I would not stay there again.
“Clarion could be worse”
Stayed for a convention near National Harbor since all hotels around the convention center were booked. Not great, but it was the closest hotel to the center with rooms available. Staff was semi-professional at least, but they were definintely very busy.
“Not Great”
The hotel is fairly tired in Decor and the lifts look like something out of a project / counsil block. The room its self was clean and comfy and surficed for what I needed. The Restaurant / Bar in the hotel was pretty terrible. The barman was very pleasent but seemed very disorganised. The place was not full but it still took 45 mins to get a sub standard chicken ceasar salad. This was possibly the worst salad i have had. The chicken was semi warm and dry, the chessy garlic bread had cold melted cheese on top - all in all the hotel served its purpose for sleep but for dinning I would avoid and eat out - which will involve getting a taxi!!
“My boss asked me to get a room that was not expensive”
He got what he asked for. All he wanted was something to sleep....and nothing fancy. He said everthing was fine.
“Great Hotel Experience”
I was extremely satisfied, They were able to upgrade me with a room that had a micro-wave and fridge. Thanks!
“It should have a fridge”
It is a very good cost/benefit choice. I just missed a fridge.

“Accommodating!”
They have just changed the ownership of the hotel when I arrived there. The staff was very accommodating - placing a refrigerator and microwave into my room. The staff was great! It would have been nice if they provide shuttle to Gaylord National Convention Center and park and ride area to be able to take Metrobus NH1 to the train station into D.C.
“Very impressed”
The hotel is beautiful, clean and safe. The staff is so kind and helpful. It is a $10 cab ride over to Gaylord. The decor is lovely, the rooms are beautiful. Other than an odd noise (machine) above my room all night- my stay was perfect! They were kind enough to let me change rooms and the noise continued. Sounded like a vent or air duct. All in all a wonderful stay! Such a beautiful hotel and amazing staff!!
