The hotel room was spacious, clean and very comfortably set up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was being renovated, so in a bit of disarray, but would definitely recommend this hotel as a very good value.

Short walk to downtown silver spring.

Free shuttle to downtown Faster to walk there, convienient if weather is issue. Hot breakfast, but I wouldn't do theirs. Eggs from a bag. Rooms were clean Only regular city street noise in the day. Pretty quiet at night.

Literally just feet from the MD/DC line, the Comfort Inn was in a good location for what we wanted to do. Not the airiest lobby I've ever been in; but nice people behind the desk. Surprisingly quiet once in the room -- we had a guy a couple of doors down singing at the top of his lungs (think Eddie Murphy in "48 Hours"); but we couldn't hear him at all once we shut our door.

Last minute hotel

I was very disappointed that the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. I would this hotel ``smokers' heaven". Non-smoking rooms were all sold out, and I had to turn on and off the air conditioning all night long--too cold/or air too bad.. I felt like I came to a wrong place where I should never come again. Sorry, but this is the truth..

Noisy Window Air Conditioner

I must say the staff was very nice, the room was small but adequate. But the noise of that window air conditioner was over the top aweful. Also, the "business center" is a small, old computer in the corner of the breakfast area right under the large, always-on, loud TV. Parking was not real convenient...when the hotel is full there isn't enough...and for the extra $10 a night would be another reason for not coming back.
