This hotel is good for the price. It isn't brand new but is is kept clean and everything works. My room had a small fridge, microwave, TV and coffee maker. Good location and vicinity to Andrews AFB--right across the street!

Days inn Camp Springs

My girlfriend and I wanted to watch a few movies out 1st night so I bought a DVD player. Unfortunately, the inputs on the t.v did not work so we tried calling the front desk but the buttons on the phone were missing. I called from my cell phone and the front desk told me there was nothing that they could do about the t.v in our room until the "Man" arrived 10am in the morning to check it out. I brushed it off, but the next morning as I tried to leave for work I turned the door knob and the whole door knob including the card reader on the door came off and I was stuck in our room with no choice but to wait for someone to open the door from the outside. I was 45 mins late for work. They changed our room once I got off. The only thing I can say positive about my experience is that the people that worked here were not rude at all and the bed was comfortable.

HouseKeepers Bad Behavior

Posted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Housekeeping staff really rude and childish. House keepers opened the door twice once 1 hour prior check out time amd again 30 to 25 minutes check out time. House keeper need to act ad adults and not children. Meaning if you open the door and I yell do not leave it and run away laughing and I have to come shut it with a towel on. Glad I had the door stopper on because if not the door would have been left open to the point where someone could have gotten in it. Rooms really clean, front desk clerks really nice and helpful. Hotel experience

Posted Nov 7, 2013
The room was dirty an hadn't been cleaned prior to my stay. The staff wasn't able to provide me clean sheets or towels, to replace the dirty ones that were there, when I asked for them. Then the management espicially was the worst I've ever seen in my life. The woman rina I believe her name was, an her brother who we were told is also a manager, were deceptive in trying to act like the weren't managers, just to avoid having to hear any issues the guest may be having. Rina was very rude an disrespectful an didn't want to give even a few seconds of her undivided time attention to our concerns. She typed as she stared at her computer the entire time we were at the front desk talking to her. An in fact we only knew she was rina because we over heard someone greet her by name, just as we were coming into the lobby. We then seen the plaque on the wall with her name on it as manager. Rina then tried to act as though she wasn't the manger. We told her we heard the other person call her by name an we seen the plaque. An she said "what is this about". An was of no help from then on. My stay was terrible. How to Handle Criticism and Praise - Part 1 Criticism and praise are two powerful emotions we have to learn to live with. If we learn to respond in the right way to the two, they will develop us. If we respond in the wrong way, they can destroy us. Learn to respond the right way.
