“Convenient and good value for the money”
If you are looking for a 5 star then this motel is not for you, but if you are looking for a convenient location with access to the beltway then this motel will suit your needs. My only poor remarks are the beds aren't that comfortable and the bathroom is tiny. Positive remarks: The staff was friendly and courteous and the location is excellent for moving around the DC/Maryland/North Virginia area.
“Nice hotel just outside of DC”
This was a nice hotel located just south of DC. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for my overnight trip. Would definitely return.
“Ok”
I would go back
“Bugs that need killing, Windows don't open, staff standoffish”
Took a long time to check in - stood there very tired for an overly long period of time. Room was stuffy upon entering, but windows are all sealed shut. Saw the first bug the first night - some kind of beetle. Didn't look quite like a roach, unless east coast roaches are different than west coast roaches. But I chose to assume it wasn't a roach but just an outdoor bug that had somehow simply gotten in to the room through the door. However, we needed to kill two more as the week progressed. Wi-fi was also not as good as I would have liked and had to be disconnected and reconnected on several occasions just to get it to work. When complained to front desk, Staff person simply said she didn't know anything about it. Further, it was no where near the Metro and we had to take a taxi just to get to a metro station several miles away. This defeated my purpose of finding a motel with a reasonable rate somewhat close to DC. We should have simply paid more for a better motel. As this all became apparent, we should have moved to a different motel - but I had made arrangements for two other families to be there as well (very embarrassing to have them come to this motel) and we were so busy with what we were doing on Capitol Hill, I just couldn't take on the task of finding another motel and moving everyone. It would have been an overwhelming extra thing to do that we really didn't have time for. The disappointment in the motel and the stress of getting back and forth to DC was too much.
“Keep OUT”
This hotel should not be on any website's suggestion list. Please keep your children out of here. Keep yourself out of here. The hotel is in a blighted community. Police vehicles are frequently checking the parking lot. A terrible place to spend the night. Not knowing the area, I thought this hotel was in DC. Wrong.
“I shall return”
The hotel was in a real good neighborhood with plenty of stores and cheap yet good places to eat and shop from also the hotel grounds were pretty clean with a nice work staff and the rooms were very relaxing but the downside of this good spot comes high in traveling fees if you have far to go your going to big time in cab fares that cost between $30 - $60 A ride and so if you can't afford all that and you don't have a car or some with a car the your beat bet is to bus it then take the subway to where you want to go its $1.70- $6.50 for a ride a big saving but your likely to get lost but after a hot day with pushy people and traffic jams when you get back to the hotel and the your room you realize that it is so worth it.
“You definitely get what you pay for!”
The only convenient thing about this hotel is that it was cheap. I stayed for three nights and not once did I have my room cleaned or fresh towels put in. My TV barely worked and it wasn't even a flat screen if that tells you anything. The area around town was not very good. If you are going to DC, the cab ride will cost about $15-$20 each way. Just spend the extra money to stay close to or actually in DC.
“Lesson Learned!”
I'll never go back. I had to sleep on top of the covers because the sheets did not look fresh.
“good service, bad location to Washington DC”
The front desk service is perfect, and the room cleanliness is good, while if you want to travel frequently to Washington DC, it's not convinient, especially it's not easy to find a taxi who is willing to drive you back to hotel.
“Cool hotel”
Great hotel with great price
