Nice Hotel, Great for FamiliesPosted Mar 19, 2014
Location: Great restaurants, safe location. Good transportation options.
Recently stayed at this Wyndham for a convention at the Gaylord. This is a very nice place only steps away from the hustle and bustle of the convention center. My business partner and I each had our own bedroom. The dining room served as a fantastic conference table and private meeting space. The living room was great for relaxing and winding down. Fully equipped kitchen with everything one would need, just add groceries. With the free shuttle to the national mall every half an hour I think this is a great option for business or extended family vacations to D.C. I will stay here again.

Good ResortPosted Jan 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great resort, however there is a STRICT no check in until 4pm, and nowhere to sit in the lobby. We were eventually told about the second floor "club" area with additional seating.

Great locationPosted Dec 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
I will come back! This place exceeded my expectations. One thing to keep in mind, not all rooms have balconies. And the windows do not open. Next time I will upgrade to have a balcony.

Good value and good location. Quiet.Posted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was impressed with the room and liked the location. It is close to amenities, but a block off the beaten path. Very quiet. I only wish they had Metro to National Harbor and then this would be the only place I would stay.

Awesome experiencePosted Sep 16, 2013
This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had, from the quick check in to the understanding staff when I checked out an hour late. The room/condo was beautiful and spacious with two separate sinks/vanities which my better half loved. Midway through our stay a member from the staff call the room to ensure there was nothing we needed and everything was up to par. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Nice hotel with shops and dining nearby.Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: We liked that it was a condo that provided us with more living space for a family of five.
Cons: A larger grocery store nearby would be nice.
Stayed with family of 5 for a week. Enjoyed all the restaurants within walking distance. The farmers market on Saturday was nice too.

Wireless InternetPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very disappointed the the wireless Internet did not work in the room. Once you entered the room you lost the signal. After talking to the front desk, after they transfered you to AT&T help desk, still no wireless!

Nice rooms, Significant travel time to D.C. sightsPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Room size and layout were good for large family
Cons: Move the concierge to a more convenient location
We are a large family so the two bedroom condo with two baths and a full kitchen worked very well for us. However, we were disappointed with the time it took us to get to anything in D.C. We had our own car so we didn't have to wait for their shuttle, but it was still about 20 minutes to either metro stop near National Harbor and then an additional 20 - 30 minutes to the National Mall area. We also found the hotel staff to not be very knowledgeable, one employee sent us to a metro stop that didn't allow Park n Ride! The concierge was on the 2nd floor as opposed to located near the entrance/exit of the complex which made it inconvenient to make an extra stop if you had a question. We also felt that, in the evenings, National Harbor turned in to an area that was not very family-friendly. It got very crowded with a large security/police presence and the atmosphere just changed.
