“Good deal for low price”

We had to find a hotel last-minute during Texas A&M's parents' weekend. They had a few rooms left and were very accommodating. The hotel is a little older, but the rooms were clean and the price was half the price of the newer hotels in Bryan and College Station. I would recommend this hotel.

“Good Bargain for Price”

I would recommend this hotel for a low price, but if I had to pay more then I would go with a competitor. However, since it was a bargain, for our purposes it was perfect. It is an older hotel and needs work, but it was very inexpensive and we weren't going to be in the room much. The staff could not have been more helpful and they were wonderfully polite and friendly. The bed was really uncomfortable, but we were exhausted so slept like logs. We would stay here again under the same circumstances.

“Great for the price”

For the price, this place cannot be beat. It was better than the more expensive hotels we stayed in on the way down and back. The breakfast is adequate--but get there early as quantities are limited. The pool is a nice place to relax in the summer's heat. The shower was a little challenging to operate, but worked fine after clearing the learning curve. If I needed a hotel in Bryan again, I would choose this one.

“Clean and comfortable”

After horrible reviews, I was afraid I'd get myself into a dump. We were just there for one night, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room and bathroom were! The only downside was the noise of the train that passed by several times during the night (I used earplugs and didn't hear a thing, but my friend kept waking up). For the price and convenience, I would definitely stay here if I ever return to College Station.

“Average but satisfactory”

We fled there from Hurricane Rita. The staff was cordial and accomodating and the room was excellent. The overall age of the building is old and it is difficult to keep up with all of the maintenance.

I know it's an old hotel (because it was there when my wife & I were in school there over 30 yrs ago!) but it could use some TLC for the price charged.

“Place to sleep”

The hotel is not the best, it is in need of some touch ups in the rooms, but it was very clean and comfortable. The price and location are unbeatable if you are only looking for a place to sleep.

“not impressed”

We chose to upgrade, but assigned room was full of boxes. They moved us upstairs to a room with a smaller bed. Said they would credit us $10.00, but they didn't. Also, left a wake-up call for 6 a.m. as there were no clocks in the room. We left the motel at 7:30 and they had never called us. Tile on stairs was flaking off. Would not stay there again.

“Fuctional place to sleep.”

Staff was very nice. Older facility in need of a face lift. Everything functioned well with the exception of the mini-frig, not working. Not very eye appealing porcelain worn off of tub and sink. Cigarette burns on counter top of non-smoking room. No smell of smoke. A place to sleep. Relatively inexpensive.
