Good hotel close to Texas A&M for a game day.

Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: I liked the proximity to Texas A&M University.
Cons: The HVAC unit was rather noisy, so we turned it off and used the ceiling fan only.
The hotel staff was very friendly, and the accommodations were very good as well. We only stayed 2 nights, but did not experience anything negative.

Average hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2013
Cons: Lower water softening.
The hotel was fine for a short stay, but is starting to show wear. The check-in area is spartan. The water was way too softened, but when I pointed this out to the check-out clerk, I got the standard "that's the way Best Western tells us to do it" excuse. I, of course, gave my standard answer - "Please tell Best Western that I don't have to stay here again, then."

Great hotel

Posted Sep 22, 2013
My boyfriend and I chose to stay here out of necessity really because all hotels in college station were booked, but it was a pleasant experience.

Clean, comfortable motel.

Posted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: A hot tub would have been nice. Also, the bathroom lighting was dim.
Location: Navasota is not a place to go unless there is a reason to be there.
We were allowed to take a late departure at 12:00 noon instead of 11:00 am without extra charge. We were also allowed to use the pool and lobby after we checked out.

Nice fallback when College Station hotels are full

Posted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: It had a clean, comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast area is small and crowded. The room's shower head is not very useful, needs to be replaced.
Since the 'decent' hotels 20 miles north were full or had jacked up their rates, this was a nice fallback choice, even though we had to drive a little further.

older couple's annual vacation 'home'

Posted Dec 3, 2012
Pros: I like the little breakfasts, & fresh coffee, my wife loves the well-maintained pool.
Location: This hotel is so conveniently located for travelers, close to highway, yet very quiet.
We come to the Renaissance Faire near here every year, it is our only vacation all year, and we refuse to stay anywhere else! The staff is so helpful and friendly, and the hotel so clean and comfortable, it is like having a familiar home to come to, each year. We have tried other places, but prefer Best Western Inn of Navasota. Always get a good night's sleep here, too. It's quiet, well-kept up, and a great place to return to, time and time again.Looking forward to next year's vacation, already! Thanks, Best Western! We are an older couple, but this is a great place for families and the business traveler, too.

Outstanding Hotel, But Terrible Breakfast

Posted Oct 1, 2012
Pros: Soft bed and great shower
Cons: Breakfast buffet.
Location: 20 minutes south of Kyle field. Well worth the drive.
Really great on all counts except one: breakfast buffet was TERRIBLE. Wasn't expecting anything great, but even the waffles were bad. I think the batter had spoiled. Fake scrambled eggs and powder-mixed juice. Totally inedible. That aside, the rooms, linens, and bathrooms were outstanding, the beds were REALLY comfortable, and the shower/tub was great. Also, they only required a one-night stay on an Aggie football weekend. If you're not looking for breakfast, you can't beat this hotel!

Weekend

Posted Sep 25, 2012
Cons: Bed Breakfast area
The bed was not very comfortable and the sheets were so thin, like they were worn out. Liked the ceiling fan. Breakfast area didn't have enough seating.
