overnight stay

I realized after trying tofind a hotel for the night that it was Move In Weekend at Texas A & M - not only was it crowed but i felt like the room rate was elevated due to the fact that parent would pay anything to be near their children one last night - well I was a traveler needing aroom for the night and got the escilated charge as well. It is a very nice property but a little pricey for the area.

It was ok overall. A little expensive though.

Pros: It's very close to a lot of restaurants to Texas A&M.
Cons: The tub was clogged, but it was fixed immediately. The light in the bathroom mirror was also not working. The bathroom mirror had water spots.
The pool was not as big as it seemed in website pictures.

Room change

I was given a 2 double size bed instead of the 2 queen room with the excuse that they did not had another room.

Brown water spitting from sink faucet, steaming water only in shower. Hair in tub. On the plus side, very nice staff.

As advertised.

Pros: The location, the rooms, the services and the staff.
Cons: Better elevators.
Location: The location is in the middle of everything. 4 miles from the airport and only one turn! Restaurants, shopping, the School and our daughter's apt.
This hotel is perfectly located, in heart of everything. The grounds and building are well kept and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant's breakfast buffet was outstanding and affordable. The climate control was perfect (cool and quiet). We had a wonderful experience. One small problem was that they only had two elevators for a very busy and large building.

disappointing overall

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: rooms need a facelift. Restaurant needs some serious rethinking
the room was dark and dingy. We were told it overlooked the pool. It did not. The restaurant staff was courteous, but it took forever to get the food both at breakfast and dinner despite the fact that it was not at all busy. The food was mediocre. The chili was barely warm, and the spring rolls were greasy and not particularly flavorful. In addition, there are 4 TV's in the restaurant so every where you looked there was a screen. For me that is not a plus.
