Good Experience.

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: It was new and clean.
Cons: Maybe better Wi-Fi; it was very slow for us in our room. Also, I think for the price, free breakfast should be included.
Location: It was very close to Messina Hof Winery, which is where we attended a wedding and it was very nice. We also went to Grand Station, very close.
The hotel was new and clean and very nice compared to many I have stayed in. The price was fine given all hotels are pretty pricey. We only stayed overnight after a wedding and it was not busy at all. Our stay was very nice. The hotel was clean and new. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone, based on my experience.

Nice, spacious room

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: The hotel is new, neat and clean. The room was very spacious.
Cons: The lighting above the bathroom mirror made it difficult to get ready.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the university and wherever you would like to go in College Station or Bryan.
I was only at the hotel for about 8 hours, but my room was very nice.

Very nice hotel

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: plenty of parking, nice large checkin area and lobby, bar if you wanted to have a drink, indoor pool and exercise room. Service was very good also.
Cons: I don't think anything could be improved upon.
Location: mall is nearby as is TxA&M University. There are several places to eat nearby
We were in College Station for my daughter's tennis tournament and I wanted to stay in a comfortable hotel where she would get plenty of rest for her matches after a long trip. The Hilton fit the bill perfectly. Check in was a breeze, there was plenty of parking, they had complimentary coffee, cookies and apples. The hotel was new and very roomy. The lobby was accomodating and had a TV where we could watch the NFL games. The rooms were made when we came back from the tournament and when we asked for more towels, room service promptly brought them up. Furthermore, there were several places to have dinner nearby so after dinner we didn't have to drive a long way to get back to the hotel. Overall I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Paper thin walls...poor service on night shift!

Posted Dec 23, 2014
Pros: the room was clean
Cons: sound proofing and communication from customer service
After a very long of travel, we checked in about 12:30 am. It was obvious by the parking lot that the hotel was nowhere near capacity. When we approached the front desk we were graciously greeted by two employees that were very friendly and considerate. We were asked us if we had a preference of floor and location of our room. (obviously they had a lot available) We promptly said...just anything that's far from anyone else and quite...maybe at the far end of the hall where there would be no foot traffic. He presented us with a key and told us we should be please with our room and even pushed back out check out time (at no charge) by another hour. Now, we know that there is a certain level of noises that are to be expected when staying in a hotel...but what proceeded over the next 7 hours was ridiculous! Just before 3:00 am it began. The room directly on the other side of our headboard had a crying baby...for 4 hours...you could hear the conversation of the parents CLEARLY and in detail...and they were not using raised voices at all, but a normal tone. I called the office twice to complain and never once did they offer to move us or try to remedy the situation in any way. When we checked out the front desk clerk knew fully of our situation and the lack of attentiveness of the night crew. We were promptly comped for our nights stay. For what they charge...I expected so much more...poor quality construction and service.

Wish we were not in the handicap room. Very noisy and near the elevator. Did not clean the room until late pm first day. Otherwise it was a beautiful place with a nice staff.

Best hotel I've used in College Station

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Location: Right across street from large sports complex. Easy access to Highway 6. Less than 5 minutes to campus and close to many great restaurants.
Excellent, new condition. Room and beds very comfortable. Great breakfast buffet - great food and very reasonable price. Public areas very open, bright and comfortable. Pretty easy drive to campus and very close to many great restaurants on University and Texas.
