We stayed in the King Rooms. The room was clean with the desk clerk staff giving us a courtesy call. That showed they cared about guests unlike other motels that I've stayed at.

“My stay at the hojo”

Me and my family stayed one day at the hojo and we loved it. The drawback was that we had to wait for 30 mins since we were checking in early and no room were available or being clean, other than that it was clean.

For a budget property, this one is especially good...clean, comfortable, quiet, with pretty grounds and an attentive staff. In fact, I left my iPhone charger cord and, after a few brief phone calls, they found it and shipped it to me. Very nice group. I would definitely stay there again, especially if needing to find the very best value for the lowest price.

From the previous reviews i have read on expedia..I didn't have any problems with my rooms or the staff at howard johnson. I do plan to stay here again.

Bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows. It was easy to find off the highway and the area was quiet at night with no disruptions. It was a cheap place for the weekend and i would definately stay back here in the future.
