“would choose different next time....”

Breakfast not impressive, not enough places for people to eat. Bed are hard, and A/C unit kept shutting off. wasn't worth the money i paid. Good location.

“Great night Sleep”

We were passing by on a long roadtrip. The motel was a very nice place to stop and rest. I like this motel for its cleanliness, free WiFi, free breakfast and many nearby restaurants & stores. A plus was that the front desk staff was very friendly. I will recommend this to everyone

“Good Night Stay”

My boyfriend and i were on a road trip and we needed a place to stay just for a night. The staff was helpful, checked us in quickly, and even gave us a call to see if everything was fine like 15min after checking in. The room was clean, it was quiet, cheap price If you need a night to stay, this is good because of the price and its around a lot of stores and restaurants.

“Pricey rates for football game weekend stays”

During fall football season, its best to try to secure a reservation in the B-CS area sooner, as opposed to later as you'll likely have very little in the way of options available for your two night minimum stay(standard practice during football game weekends). The end result of not planning ahead..steeper prices for hotels/motels and this HoJo was in my mind, mediocre at best. While the room was tolerable(two full size beds), the room itself was small and my family and I felt at times it was too small. After a long day, you'd also like to come back to shower and clean up and not suprisingly, the quality of towels was less than standard(extensively laundered with little absorbtion left in them) so this too was below par. Continental breakfast room is too small with very litte room to sit down in although the food selection was adequate(think muffins, cereals, coffee juice,and way too early bananas which were obviously not ripe). On the positive, our room was cleaned after our first night stay(surprised, to be honest to have seen that) and the AC and ice maker down the walkway worked fine. Oh yes, and the front desk person who checked us in was helpful even though the key card she provided failed to work and required us to go back and seek her assistance. All in all, this stay was what I expected...paid too much for a mediocre accommodation during a A&M home football game weekend.

“Pass on this one unless no choice”

We experienced an "oversold" with our hotel reservations so at the last minute found a room at this Howard Johnson. In today's economy where jobs are precious and money is tight I hate to give a bad review of the hotel, but it was not a clean room. The sheets were dirty and the hotel and rooms themselves could use some updating. However it' right off the highway and easy to get to. There is also a restauraunt attaches to the hotel. But the dirty sheets were just too much for us.

“Room's were great, great value.”

Common. College Station. Game Day. What do you think to yourself? "Oh, there will be no rooms open, especially for a butt whooping of the bears game." So, the only room we could find was at this hotel (second to last room available). I was surprised at the price, surrounding hotels were around 100+. The rooms were comfortable, had complementary breakfast and fast WiFi internet. Definitely would recommend this hotel! That's a no brainer. Gig' Em!

“Never again.”

This hotel was dirty and in poor repair. The room smelled musty. Free wifi worked only in one corner of the room. Pay more and go elsewhere.
