While we weren't there long to stay after attending. A wedding got in late. The room was very lovely. We plan to go back for a weekend

Beautiful, unique property with magnificent villa. Lov w d the Napoleon and Jsosephine Suite. 2 person, jacuzzi tub to die for. Food at villa, bar, and restaurant exceptional! The flambe, Cherries Jubilee to die for with homemade, vanilla, bluebell ice cream at restaurant. The tour was also awesome. Sean was approachable and knowledgeable. Wine tasting was plentiful snd delicious. Overall, a beautiful and spectacular place to celebrate. 13th Anniversary!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The wine tasting/tour was great - we walked the property the next morning and saw 3 deer. Breakfast was delicious! A fun way to spend your weekend!

We hadn't stayed at Messina Hof for over 20 years and the experience was still exceptional especially spending time with Paul Sr. who was in the Resort B&B living room after our stay making sure we had a grand time. Thank you Paul.

The light from the lobby beams in above the doors through the colored glass making it very hard to sleep. Also, the lights are left on ALL night, which they should be dimmed way down or the windows above the room doors need a curtain to cover them. Also, the water would not get hot in the morning, I'm not sure if it's because the rooms all share a water heater or what. Other than that the place was ok, I see a bunch of areas that they can improve to make it a WAY better experience. Staff was great, and it was clean.

Bathroom in our room needs to be updated. Breakfast was only ok, it needs to be improved, fruit and cheese plate was nice, also mimosa was a nice touch.

We had an amazing stay. Extremely clean and orderly. We were surprised with a cheese tray and tasting ticket. Breakfast was great. I would recommend this place highly and will stay there again!.

May be related to Covid issues but we had much difficulty locating someone to check us into our room, difficulty obtaining a dinner reservation in the restaurant and the tasting room was at full capacity so we waited 45 minutes for a wine tasting (there is no waiting list) and people continued to arrive so it was difficult for the staff to know your place in line. Staff was not friendly in the tasting room, appeared to be stressed and understaffed. The landscape appears to have been unattended for quite some time. The plus was the food in the restaurant was great and the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Maybe our expectations were much higher than most as we have been to Napa several times and have had great experience there.

Well, I am not sure how much of my experience is COVID related. I do recognize that issues may be related to difficulties with supplies, staff etc. When we arrived, we found an envelope with our keys and a map in it since the hostess had left for the day (6:30 pm). Before dinner, we were supposed to have a wine and cheese tasting. No cheese was provided. On day two, we had a breakfast that included a fruit and cheese plate, I could not resist the irony. The hot breakfast was biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were undercooked. The website mentioned a champagne breakfast but no champagne was provided. The seating in the restaurant (based on social distancing) had us seated in the corner at a round table so we either had to sit at an odd angle or with our back to the rest of the room. I cannot sit that way so I just chose the odd angle. The view from that spot out the window is a large blue storage container (??) that blocks the view of the vineyard. I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. The food was fairly good and they make several very good wines. We bought three bottles to bring home with us. I'd say for the money right now, just wait until this COVID mess is overwith and maybe the seating, breakfast, and service will improve.

We arrived around 5:00pm and there was no one there. We found an envelope with our name on it and a key. We had to find our room and get settled in by ourselves. The room did not have any extra toilet paper only what was left on the roll and by the next morning that ran out!!! Also, there were only three pillows on the bed and they were flat as pancakes but there was no one there to request any more. Once someone was there the next day we asked and were told they could only give us one more! We never met the Inn keeper although the owner came by to introduce himself at breakfast. We stayed two nights but didn’t sleep well not sure if it was the bedding or lack of pillows!
