“Acceptable and improving”
Have used this hotel several times for football w/e. The staff have always been helpful and although the rooms are a bit rundown, they have always been clean and comfortable. For the price and service it has proven to be a good deal for our needs.
“Perfect for the price!”
For what you pay, it is what you expect. Recently renovated, it's cozy. The pool looked nice, there were always people playing in it and seemed to have a good time. It's inner courtyard was a plus since the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best, but a high fence surrounding the property was good. The bathroom was very small, but everything was clean and in perfect working order. Appliances worked, coffee maker, blow dryer, clock, A/C and TV. There was no mini fridge as the website led me to believe, so my leftovers went in the trash, but that's not too big of a problem as most hotels for this price dont have them anyway. I would stay at the Travelodge again gladly!

“This Place Needs HELP!”
I'll name these as they come to me -- no particular order. No trash can in the room, sheetrock missing over the tub, three guests but only one cup with the coffee maker (which was not replenished) and two sets of towels. Two night stay but the room was only partially serviced between nights (beds were not made and only some of the trash picked up - which we stacked on the floor since there was no trash can). The card keys had to be remade before we could get back into the room the second evening. The little fridge (off when we arrived) never got cold enough to keep my wife's meds. There were grass burrs in the rug. The staff was very pleasant.
“Blood trail leading to the front door with a bullet hole in it”
Do Not Stay at this hotel. The front door looked like it had been shot out, and had not yet been replaced. There was also a blood trail leading up to the front door when I got up in the morning. When I got to the room there was a phone with no cords connecting it to anything, no remote, and the TV was not working. Also the bathroom ceiling had big water bubbles in it and looked like it was about to fall in. The entire room was well below par on cleanliness as well. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of the same box of donuts for 3 days. It was on Texas Street, so not a bad location, but I would never stay here again. If it wasn't graduation weekend I would have changed hotels before ever checking in.
“Bad Stay!”
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It was actually a little scary. The pictures on expedia look like the hotel is not in bad condition. However, it is a different story in person. Our door had a large crack in the bottom. The air conditioner didn't work and there was not a window to open. It was not clean. The room had partially been remodeled but was still in really bad shape. There were also bugs in the bed and room. I am not someone who stays in really expensive nice hotels, but I do expect to stay in a well maintained and clean room. For the price I paid I should of had a hotel in a lot better condition.
“The No-Tell Motel”
The service was legitimately good. And they almost cleaned all the blood off the wall before we stayed, (seriously). if the eletricity doesn't work, the wiring panel in the ceiling has been left open for your convenience. Try not to shock yourself. There's no smoking allowed, so most ppl open the window first to try and comply. Overall, I suggest staying if youre looking for a "good time"!
