Not a place I would recommend

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Nothing like the pictures, it looked decent for the price, but it wasn't. You really get what you pay for. I tried to cancel but I would have to pay for another nights stay. Don't have money to throw away so I dealt with the place. The carpet was wet, room smelled, furniture was dirty. Will not be staying here again.

Close to expo

The rooms have not been updated since it was built by the looks of it. Carpet was dirty, shower sprayed everywhere, lock on door was broken, no blankets on beds. And starting at 10 pm all the drunks were out making all kinds of noise til 4 am, you could hear right thru walls. I might have gotten 2 hrs of sleep each night, that was before 10 pm.

Seen better days

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: It was available.
Cons: Needs complete remodeling.
Room, carpet, towels, bedding, and TV have all seen better days. Provided a convenient place to stay on a busy weekend at TAMU.

A Motel in Need of Improvement

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: There were a few good things as well: both people I spoke to were nice and cordial. The breakfast and the area in which it was served were both good.
Cons: There were a few good things as well: both people I spoke to were nice and cordial. The breakfast and the area in which it was served were both good.
Location: We were there for a horseshoe tournament. It was held at a lovely park. Also, there is a college nearby,
Upon arriving, I was met by a very cordial innkeeper in a very nice reception area. However, the room was totally the opposite. I was too tired to even walk back to complain that night, but I did tell them about the problems the next morning. The carpet was stained, big stains, in many places. The upholstered chair was stained. The edges of the bathroom were dirty. The iron was missing. There were no bedspreads. There was no phone to call the desk and no connectable internet. There were a few good things as well: both people I spoke to were nice and cordial. The breakfast and the area in which it was served were both good. Had I not been so tired, I would have refused to stay in that room.

Bad part of town.

Posted Mar 23, 2015 on Hotels
The room was very cold, and very out of date. The room was clean, but that's about it. I was in the room for less than 24 hours, and I could tel it was in a bad part of town. I know that is not the hotels fault, but I did not feel safe staying there.

Decent Hotel for the Price.

Stayed 3.14.15 the gentleman at the front desk was pleasant at check. The only issue we had was that our room was obviously a smoking room or someone prior to our stay was smoking, the smell was still present. For a quick overnight stay it was fine!

Declining Quality

Posted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels
I have stayed here several times over the past couple of years and have notice a decline of the rooms quality. It use to be a fair price for a decent place to stay.
