“wouldn't change a thing”

I didn't know what to expect but found much more than I could possibly imagine. I am not a traveler per se, but considering I had a child with me things just couldn't have been any better. The food both in the morning and again in the evening was great. I cannot think of anything that we missed out on. The services provided were excellent and affordable.

Area recommendations
There is so much to see in St. Louis and the Metro makes it so easy to get to where you need to go.
Must see
All of St. Louis is a must see. There is quite alot of history in Illinois also. If you are a history buff you have the Cahokia Mounds, Scott AFB and Shrine of our Lady of the snow. There is so much to see and so many places to go, it's just limitless.

“Comfort at a reasonable price”

We enjoyed a 2 night stay with our children & grandchildren. The location was convenient to family events in Edwardsville and Granite City. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to inquire if everything was satisfactory. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool. The breakfast buffet was adequate and the evening snacks were more plentiful than any other hotel where we have stayed.

Dining
For elegant dining try Erato's on Main Street in Edwardsville.

“Worst customer service EVER!!!”

I was not impressed with this hotel due to some issues that we had with our room but the staff made the problems 10x worse with their nonchalant and dismissive attitudes. Just know, this room does not have the queen size beds it advertises, the only have fulls!!! The rooms are dirty and there was less than half a roll of toliet paper when we got there; our phone didn't work and we had to insert our keys usually 3-5 times before any doors would open. I usually LOVE Drury Inns and feel that they are a great value but we will NEVER be back to this one!!!

“Larry Flinner”

Good hotel. Good location. Only problem was the renovation of breakfast area. Would be congested with new design. Liked the way it was before.

“I'm telling all my family and friends in Australia how awesome it was!!”

I stayed by myself at The Drury Inn Collinsville this past weekend. I couldn't wait to share the wonderful experience I had. My room was comfortable and clean, the price is phenomenally low considering all of the services and freebies provided. The hotel staff could not do enough for me! The free hot breakfast included scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, hot coffee, a waffle maker, donuts, and so many other items that I can't remember. Dinner was a selection of different food types as well as three free drinks per person. The waitstaff are attentive and seemed genuinely interested. When I got back to my room the first night, there was even a message from the manager asking if everyone was treating me well and how everything was. I was blown away by their helpfulness. The beds were super comfy too which surprised me for the price of the hotel. They may include many extras free, but they are not skimping in other places to make up for it. Thank you. I'm telling all my family back home in Aus to come to America and stay at the Drury Inn!

Area recommendations
If you hire a car at the airport, it is very easy to get around this town. Go to the riverfront and look at the majestic arch or jump on route 66 and have some concrete at Ted Drewes. I specifically visited to view the Cahokia Mounds State Park and I was very impressed.
What to pack
An umbrella over summer.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel was under going renovations which didn't pose a problem during the time we stayed. They had a snack/cocktail hour in the evening, which was nice for anyone from kids to adults. The problem we had was our room was not cleaned. When we looked in the refrigerater there was food in it from the previous people. When we pulled the bedspread down there was black dog hair all over the bed and pee spots. My husband went to the front desk to let them know and someone came right up and changed the sheets. We were also told Drury would give us a free nights stay to be used at a later date. We have not been contacted about our free night yet (It has been a month since our stay). I love animals, but finding someone elses pet hair and pee in the bed I'm going to sleep in is gross. Makes you wonder how many hotels don't change the sheets after someone sleeps in them?

“Descent Hotel For The Price”

Drury Inn in Collinsville was a good deal for the price we got. We had a clean, comfortable room and enjoyed the hot breakfast and the evening reception that the hotel offered. Our only complaint was that there were several families with a lot of children being rowdy in the pool and the hotel staff didn't seem to mind. Even after bringing it to the staffs attention no warning of any kind was given to the families. We were not able to enjoy the pool during our stay because we have young children and there was not a calm place in the pool for us to use. I think the staff should have done more to enforce the hotel's pool rules so everyone could enjoy the pool. Other than the problems with the pool we enjoyed our stay.
