“Will return in the future”
Perfect place to stay when visiting St. Louis. Metro is the clincher for me.
“Great staff, would use hotel again”
the evening snack was extremely good as well as the 3 free alcoholic drinks until 7pm. Free soft drinks throughout the day were a bonus. Pool was adequately heated and pool area was pleasant, with access to the outdoor pool area and sun loungers. Staff extremely helpful, room very clean, all public areas very lean too. If I was ever back in the area again I would use this hotel again.
“A Very Nice Hotel”
We stayed in two Drury hotels in two different cities during our trip, and were quite satisfied by the quality and the services of both places. We'll recommend it if you're traveling to St. Louis and its vicinity.
“Can't wait to return”
The hotel was great, food was not so good. We loved the room and had a blast going to St Louis, was nice not to have to stay in the city. I will return again to this hotel. The staff was the best I have ever seen. The rooms were the best, everyone was friendly and well mannered.
“EXCELLENT!”
WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. WE WERE CELEBRATING OUR 2ND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. WE ESPECIALLY ENJOYED THE COMPLIMENTARY FOOD & BEVERAGES. VERY QUIET AND COZY AND NEAR TO ALL OUR RESTAURANTS AND OTHER STORES. WOULD BE BACK SOON!
“Best Hotel Staff ... bar none...without a doubt”
This was the perfect hotel for my wife and I when we went to visit St. Louis for the recent U2 concert. John Legens (General Manager) had a top notch staff. We arrived at 9:45am for a 3pm check in and they gave us our room and even told us we could have the breakfast buffet (7am-10am). We couldn't belive it. My wife went nuts over the waffles. They also had food and 3 free drinks per person (beer, liquor, and I think maybe wine) in the evening. Also there was a Metro Station in Fairview Heights where we could park and be dropped off at Busch Stadium for the concert and other hot spots (Lacles Landing, Union Station, casinos...) Awesome hotel but most of all the staff is what made the stay special. Also many restaurants in the area.
“Weekend escape”
Hotel was nice, we've stayed there before, it is better than getting in traffic in St. Louis. Not too long of a drive there. Because of our trips we missed the snacks, but overall good. Breakfast has changed since last visit. But we were hungry, so we made due.
“Details, Details, Details!!”
This was our first stay at a Drury Inn, so we weren't sure what to expect. Although their rooms weren't as large or perhaps "well stocked" - (but who uses the free samples anymore anyway? Everyone brings their own beauty products!) as some other chains I have stayed at in a similar price range, they BY FAR made up for it in the extra's. The evening snack was enough for a whole meal after our huge lunch, the free movie checkout was perfect for calming our kids and putting them to sleep, the front desk staff were wonderful and the breakfast had a lot of variety. Most importantly, to me, was their help afterwards. I left my personal pillow there after we left. I am emotionally attached, as it is an OLD feather pillow which use to belong to my grandmother. They found it, kept it, and shipped it to me when I called. Very personal attention. My one complaint about this location is that the front entrance was really funky. Almost hard to find. The Inn itself is very convenient, but the front door is slightly hidden.
“Good place to stay”
We felt the bathroom area could have been cleaner, but we're particular about things like that. We decided we're going to remember to bring a spray can of disinfectant cleaner with us when we travel in the future. The sheets on the bed were older and didn't appear to have been washed with fabric softener. The main elevator was out of service during our stay. There was a second elevator and stairs, but elevators that don't work can be a little unnerving. We were there one day and the elevator wasn't fixed when we checked out. The most positive thing was the staff. They were extremely polite and were very helpful in every way.
“What a deal!”
Pleasantly surprised during stay at the Drury Inn and Suites! The hotel was maintained very well and the food for both breakfast and in the evening was quite tasty. I do not care to stay in hotels these days but felt that this was a steal! My only complaint is that I requested extra face cloths and was told that they would bring them to the room, but I never received them.
