Family friendly hotelPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The staff are the most outstanding of any hotel we have stayed at, including five star hotels.
We stayed here twice over a two week period. The king room on the bottom floor was larger than the king room on the third floor. The third floor room's bathroom was extremely small. Everything was very clean and pleasant and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was hot and fresh and the quick dinner was good fare for children. This is our fourth stay at this hotel and we've never been disappointed in the friendliness and amenities provided. This is a family friendly hotel and is always bustling. This is not a quiet hotel during the day, but there was no problem after quiet hours.

Wonderful Place to Stay!Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The breakfasts and afternoon food and drink were exceptional. We actually couldn't believe how pleasant all of this was.
Cons: We are so sorry to say this, but sometimes the staff could be actually TOO friendly. Sometimes you just want to eat in quiet. But thank you.
Location: EVERYTHING is nearby.
We were visiting family, which though joyous, can be tiring. The Drury gave us a place to retreat to. They offered food and drink and were very accommodating.

GREAT HOTEL NEXT TO SHOPPING CENTERSPosted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: KICK BACK HOURS(FREE DRINKS)
Cons: PROVIDE LOTION AND TOOTHPASTE IN ROOMS. AND MORE COFFEE PACKS.
Location: SHOPPING CENTERS, ALL THE BIG NAME STORES. GREAT RESTAURANTS.
BEST HOTEL YET. WE LOVED THE "KICK BACK" HOURS. CLEAN ROOMS AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. LOVED THE FACT THAT IT WAS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL SHOPPING CENTERS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent location, hotel was right off the interstate and shopping/restaurants were close. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

One slip in amenitiesPosted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at this hotel before and would have given it all 5-satrs, EXCEPT ... they have stopped providing bath soap and have installed plastic "liquid soap" dispensers in the showers. This stuff does not foam and you do not feel 100% clean. An awful idea. If they stick with this I'll have to start bringing my own bar soap.

really nice roomsPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Nice rooms. The pool and Jacuzzi were very relaxing.
Cons: Unfortunate highway construction on I-64 could not be helped.
Location: Everything in St.Louis is convenient.
The hotel is convenient to St. Louis and clean. The free breakfast was very good. The 5:30 ;pm snacks were very good.

Close to Cahokia Mounds Archaelogical SitePosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: Proximity to Cahokia mounds.
Cons: Needed ATM machine.I did not want to scour the nearby businesses looking for an ATM in 100 degree heat, in an area I am not familiar with.
Location: Cahokia mounds. Definitely worth seeing in a lifetime. The site is very impressive.
Good location for Cahokia mounds visit, but I did not feel safe at Inn. A policeman was always watching the parking lot, for good reasons I later found out. I hated driving Illinois roads to get to other tourist locations. Missouri roads were OK. But road construction was a problem everywhere. Miissourians seemed a bit hostile in all respects to me.

One night stayPosted Sep 9, 2013
Location: Right down the road from the bus service to the St. Louis Cardinals - didn't have to mess with driving and parking for game which was very convenient.
Check-in was quick and polite. Employees were helpful and courteous. Room was great - very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great!
