The studio was very clean, spacious, well equipped and in average condition. It was convenient to have access to a fridge, a microwave and a laundry room just in case. There is also a collapsible laundry rack in the room. The breakfast was simple but good. The pet fee was extremely reasonable if you’re bringing a dog or cat. There were some board games, a foosball table and a piano in the lobby to help pass the time. The location was quiet and away from tourist traffic but still within walking distance of attractions such as the chocolate museum. It is also right around the corner from a Rewe grocery store. My only complaint was the front desk. They were understaffed so check in ended up taking 40 mins. In addition they were not always very responsive when it came to requests for new sheets or towels.

Excellent: Dog-friendly and close to the city center and reasonable price Good: Quiet (probably depends on the room roadside or opposite), bus tab, parking fee is every 24 hours cycle so you can enjoy city central after check-out. Not bad or good: A card key was not working properly (can be exchanged), breakfast was equal or less than average, it was a sofa bed and was too soft, some staffs were very kind and friendly and some staffs were not. Probably no air conditioning (heating only). Overall: I will stay here again if I have a chance to travel to this city again.

WAS a nice clean friendly hotel not anymore
Stayed here in 2017 when the hotel was new lovely hotel and friendly staff Return this year to the opposite and was greeted by unfriendly receptionist who was very unhelpful refused to check me in early explained that she was waiting for customer s to check out Arrived at 1245pm offered to pay for early check in but she explained she was waiting for guest to check out. Sat in lobby for 1hr 45mins no one checked out ! Then observed a person want to move rooms due bad smell in bathroom room swap was done I then asked if I could check in was told no no rooms free untill 3pm I then challenged the day shift female and she stated 3pm was Checkin time I said it's now 230pm surely I can check in but she refused and said I would have to Wait but a helpful late turn receptionist came on duty gave me the form to fill out and checked me in with out any issues Standards have dropped including room maintenance and cleaning

Perfect Hotel With a Small Flaw
Great hotel! Or should I say Aparthotel S its properly called. Upon arrival my family and I was shocked, in a good way! We couldn't believe that we've practically gotten an entire mini apartment for ourselves, kitchen and all. Considering the price, we didnt expect sk much but were happily overwhelmed. However, theres one big flaw about this hotel that I've never experienced until this hotel... theres no service! My wife and I were mildly disappointed when we found out there's no daily service like most hotels. I mean the daily cleaning of your room, the change of sheets and fresh towels, garbage bags, ect. It was then when we found out why the price was so cheap, theres no service included! However, despite that, its a great hotel and still a great bang for your buck.

Cleaning standards need to be stepped up, especially with a pandemic in full swing. Stuff from previous guests were still in the room after we’d checked in — not good! The hotel pillows were so uncomfortable, and the sound system needs updating. It works only on iPhone 3

one of the room ac is not working. We are all woke up in the middle of the night cause feeling so hot. And very bad service in reception ( when check out ), the person who was at the reception when we checked out was very annoying, I asked the clerk who was on my floor what if we were late checkout and he said it was okay. but when we check out in receptionist, the receptionist scolded us, we got annoyed and had a fight at the reception. if as customers are wrong, tell us, no need to scold us, he also mentioned about having to pay, just say how much we will pay. and he kept looking for our mistakes by parking, he threatened to get us out in 10 minutes. I will no longer stay here & will not recommend anyone, thank you

The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Cologne old town and cathedral. A grocery store is 1 minute away and the hotel has a stove, microwave, silverware, cooking tools and refrigerator. The staff is very patient and friendly. If you are looking for daily housekeeping, you might consider staying somewhere else. Our family of 2 adults and 2 children were able to clean up after ourselves and simply request new toiletries/towels as needed. We staying in a one bedroom which has a full bed in the bedroom and pull out bed sofa in the living room that worked for the kids. Great hotel and perfect location.

A very pleasant stay
I was worried about booking an aparthotel - took a chance based on the pics and reviews online. No regrets! The check-in was easy, the stafff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and what’s happening (Xmas markets). The room itself was big enough for the 4 of us. It was clean as was the bathroom. We had a view of the Main Street and we were a 15 min walk to the shopping area and cathedral. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Had fun in this city - thank you Köln. We will be back

Good location, good room
Hotel is in good location just a short walk from centre and cathedral, rooms spacious, great shower. Microwave, stove, kettle, nespresso coffee machine (bring your own capsules) and fridge in room, plus enough crockery and utensils. Bed is basically a sofa bed but surprisingly comfortable. The only negative is if you are staying for a few days you might want to take your own iron as the ones they provide are dry irons (not steam) and a nightmare to iron with. We had a very unpleasant early morning fire alarm whilst we were there (rude awakening) but I’m not sure we can blame the hotel for that.
