“An unexpectedly nice hotel experience”

I chose this hotel principally because of its proximity to another hotel which was hosting a conference. I was not expecting such a outstanding hotel experience. The art'otel is trendy, but still comfortable and friendly. The staff was great - helping me to solve an internet connectivity problem even though it was clearly outside their comfort zone. The room was on the small side, but very comfortable. The location, on the fringe of the high-traffic tourist area, suited me well. My only complaints are no room service and an outrageously expensive breakfast with few alternatives in the immediate neighborhood.

“Modern hotel in a great location”

Beautiful bright, fresh modern hotel. Ideally position in Cologne for all the major sites. Would stay here again and recommend to all. Staff very friendly and helpful.

“Wish we stayed longer”

This hotel was clean, the receptionists spoke English (very helpful). The room was beautiful and comfortable. We only stayed a night, but we wish we stayed forever! As a bonus, the Lindt Chocolate Factory is a minute walk from the hotel, and other attractions are not much further. We forgot to cash in our 50% off breakfast, so I can't speak for that, and the parking garage was full so we had to park 3 blocks away (but there is a drop of spot at the entrance). Even with that, we definitely recommend this hotel!

“Cologne mishap”

When ordering it looked like a boutique hotel a bit far from the city centre. Hence the 4 star rating and a decent ptice. The location turned really not that great as it stood next to a busy road. By itself it didnt create problems as there was no noise in the room and we had a room overlooking the river. The hotel certainly isn't a 4-start one. The interiors look pretty shabby and cheapie. The stairs in front of the hotel are pretty steep and one has to tackle heavy luggage up the stairs by onself. The sink in the bedroom. Free Internet maxed out at 256 K and got stuck when trying to run more or less traffic
