“Conviniently located”

Either for business (Close to the trade fair) or for leisure (Walking distance to the Dom and the pedestrian street or walks near the Rhine), this hotel is ideally located. Rooms are small but well appointed. Staff is friendly. Rate is fair. Good value. A good and safe choice for all your stay in Cologne.

“Ok”

We stayed for one night only, but evereything was fine - just like we one should expected from a 5 star rated hotel. There are many hotels in the neighbourhood, and the location is good. 5 minutes walk to the Dome and the shopping and restaurant area. Breakfast buffet was good and had a large variety. We were charged the stay twice. Even though this should not happen - it was easily corrected after a phone call to the hotels friendly staff. Parking in the hotels parking house is very expensive - 25 Euro for 24 h.

“Great Location”

We spent a week at the hotel. We were happy we hadn't chosen other hotels closer to the cathedral because it would have been noisier. This location was in walking distance of everything. Our only complaint was the room upstairs had very young kids running around all night, and we could hear their footsteps. The consierge was extremely helpful and pleasant. On the downside, this hotel is more conducive to businesses. The breakfast package plus internet is expensive for traveling families.

“American Amenities and Comfort in Cologne”

This hotel is just like an American Marriott hotel in any major business city... which is unusual to find in the EU (large rooms, large & comfortable bed, modern bathrooms, functional AC, etc). The location is good - just a block out the back door of the train stn - but not excellent, though, as there are many other hotels directly in the center of town, over beyond the front side of the train stn.

“Consider it ... you won't be disappointed”

It is a good hotel , very well located and provides all the basic services that you'd expect from your hotel as a visitor. There is nothing special that I would remember this hotel for, but I'd definitely would stay here if I go back to Cologne.

“Very pricey”

Average Marriott located near the altstadt in Cologne. Comfortable room, but lacked adequate lighting in the bathroom. Lots of amenities, but everything was priced as if the hotel was a 5 star in New York. Breakfast, not included in the room rate and was 25-30 dollars per person. Parking in the hotel garage was 25 Euro per night. Internet 15 USD for 24 hours. Hotel restaurant and bar were priced out of our range. Not recommended for anyone on a budget or anyone watching their expenses on a vacation. Probably more a business hotel where expense accounts will cover the costs.
