“Excellent breakfast”

Very pleasant hotel in convenient and central location. Ideal if you are arriving by train. Just set back from main road on a side street with little traffic. We cannot comment on the train station noise as our room faced the internal court yard. Bedrooms clean and tidy. Complimentary soft drink mini bar replenished daily. Breakfast was very good. Array of foods - hot, cold, sweet and savoury. The welcome was friendly and staff were extremely helpful. Overall a very well run and good value hotel.

“Handy central location”

This hotel provided clean and meticulous service. Excellent breakfasts and a really handy location for the station and town centre. The staff all speak English and are exceptionally friendly. My only hazard is that you do hear noise from the station and the walls are a little thin. The "sleepy sheep" sweets on the pillows are a nice touch.

“Very impressed”

A very pleasant hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was clean, warm, comfortable beds and a splendid breakfast buffet. We could not believe the wide choice from bacon and egg to smoked salmon and herring, a wide variety of meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes. The location right next to Koln main station was ideal. We will go there again.

“Ideal Location”

Very nice Hotel with very welcoming staff. The front desk took time in explaining the area to us which was a god send when we started exploring. The breakfast Buffet was great with plenty on offer. The FREE mini bar, water and fruit juice, in your room is a nice gesture also. Cologne Cathedral was amazing and what ever you do pay the €3.00 and climb to the top, by 533 steps, the views are fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from all serving good quality food. Also, if you have time, take a train to Bonn, 15 minute, and explore another beautiful city. All in all, a great City and you should have a great time. The only down side was the Smoking in the Bars and some places in the Hotel.

Good location easy access to Cathedral and mainline station and only a few yards from the river.

“Great Hotel”

At first the room that the receptionist gave us was BAD - as there was construction going on just outside the window. But we requested a different room and had to wait an hour before it was changed for us. The best thing was that we were allowed to stay until evening at no extra cost as our train was in the evening. Service was excellent, the staff wonderful.

Stayed here with my mum whilst visiting the Christmas markets. Would highly recommend it. Excellent location - 1 minute walk from main railway station. Exceptionally clean - room and bathroom bright, modern, comfortable and absolutley spotless. Great breakfast. Stay here - you won't be dispointed.

“Very Impressed”

This hotel is in a great location for your visit to Cologne and very close to the railway station. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the staff were very helpful and efficient. The rooms were lovely and clean, spacious and well furnished and I would highly recommend it. We will definately stay there again.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Going to the hotel from the central Station, a matter of 2-300 metres, there are currently massive reconstruction works in place, which could have led to a bad impression of the hotel, because it is set back from the main road, there was very little traffic or building noise. Although there are significant construction works around the Central Station, and in the city, Cologne is easily accessible from the hotel. Excellent breakfast, but currently not offering evening meals,(available at a nearby sister hotel). Comfortable bedrooms and very good service from Reception, (heating problem and extra pillows).

“Ideal for a night, especially if arriving by train”

The hotel was across the road from the main train station and close to the centre of town. This made it ideal for a quick stay over with a morning's sight seeing. Friendly staff and pleasant decor. Only fault was the noisy air conditioning unit outside, which meant we kept windows shut.
