Excellent hotelPosted Aug 24, 2013
Cons: The wifi was slow at times.
Location: The hotel is positioned about half an hours walking distance from the dom, however there is a tram station within five minutes.
The hotel has a very nice feel to it, the rooms are spacious and well furnished with a very nice bathroom.

Great StayPosted Feb 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
I had a great stay at the Hopper. The staff was very friendly and helpful and all spoke great English. Due to fun of Karnival I never enjoyed Breakfast for I was sleeping. The restaurant looked good though. Also, parking was cheap!

Pleasantly surprisedPosted Oct 15, 2008
It is a little way out of the city centre but walking in meant we came across museums and shopping areas we might have missed. We were given a map on checking in and it was very useful! The Hotel has an interesting history as shown in the decor and the food in the restaurant was very good.

"Klein aber fein"Posted Sep 23, 2008 on Hotels.com

Would definitely go back, but a large double next timePosted Sep 18, 2008
Very friendly and helpful staff, good rate which included a great breakfast. Minimalist decor, but with some nice touches, and a bathroom which was quite luxurious for its size. My only slight disappointment was the size and layout of the bedroom - I bashed my shin a couple of times trying to manoeuvre between the bed and the TV cabinet. But then, I did choose to skimp and book a small double, so I only have myself to blame!

sehr sehr angenehmes HotelPosted Jul 28, 2008 on Hotels.com

good choicePosted May 28, 2008
The hotel is centrally located in walking distance to most touristic attractions but also at the fringe of an interesting residential/small business neighborhood. The design approch is interesting in a minimalistic way by combining elements of the former Abbey with modern concrete/steel elements smoothed by warm colors. The breakfast is very good, but the best is the restaurant which served the most innovative and intersting food I had sine some time. If they keep the good price/performance ration, for sure a place to recommend

Trendy but walls are paper thinPosted Oct 25, 2006
Trendy, boutique hotel. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your fellow guests' conversations and movements. If you're a light sleeper or likely to suffer from jet lag, this is not the hotel for you. Location is good.

Very stylish, fun hotel. The restaurant was exceptional, and the included breakfast was wonderful. Rooms are clean and modern.
