“Excellent Hotel for the Price”

I was hesitant to book this hotel due to all the negative reviews. However, I found the hotel to be quite comfortable and clean. I was only staying a night, so it was the perfect place to lay my head after a long day of sightseeing in Cologne. The staff was helpful. There was no elevator. The room included a comfortable bed, small closet, nightstand, two chairs and a bathroom. Unfortunately, the shower head wall mount was broken. The breakfast was great with a nice selection of foods. It even included hot eggs and bacon. The location was perfect for a sightseeing weekend. It was close to the dom, the river and all the lovely resturants and shops. I parked my car in a close by parking garage for 17 Euro. Overall, a good place to stay for a quick sleep.

No internet access from your room, No amenities, Less security, No phone access even to front desk. You have to walk down the street to get your room. I strongly suggest not to stay at room number#1-5. They are on first floor and have very thin wall. You can hear everything what happening next room & street even steps.
