Right between old and new townPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: staff, room, fridge, shower, bed, wifi... parking... proper motorcycle spaces...that are free mini bar prices were really low. Cheaper than town.
Cons: cant really think of anything.. its pretty much perfect
Location: You can walk into the old town and visit the cathedral. Loads of bars and resturants about 10mins walk the other way. So you have the old and new
fantastic! Staff are amazing, efficient, pleasant, attractive, stunning and lots of other great words there isent room to use. I arrived tired, hot, hungry and in need of some peace. Check in was super easy and fast. Sorting wifi was quick. They have a small card with the info on. up to the room to drop helmet and jacket. surprised by how BIG the room was. Double the size of the previous hotel I'd walked out of. squidgy bear sweets on the pillows, were funny but tasted great. Sugar rush!. Back to the bike to unload. two trips later, bikes unloaded and everythings in the room. out of bike kit, room is coolish. quick power nap, shower and out to grab food. wifi was fast and super strong signal. five bars, full strength. bed was comfy. Fridge was cold, so I put my water bottle in there. I missed the included breakfast due to the bed being so comfy, that I overslept. Managed to get everything together, just before check out time, but left water bottle in the fridge. Girls on reception had no problems or issues letting me back into the room to go grab it. Other guests there were really nice. Everyone saying hello in the lobby in passing. I intend to go back, on my next trip to see friends. I forgot to lock the bike, when I unloaded, shocked that it was still there, when I was loading up. It was parked right outside reception, so they must have kept an eye on it all night. total change in attitude to the last place. DEFO GOING BACK!!!

Great Location - Ideal for City BreakPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Very helpful staff, deluxe rooms very spacious with big shower and interesting lighting. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: Probably very little, but anyone with restricted mobility may have problems with the steps to different levels in the reception/breakfast area.
Location: Easy walk from main station and cathedral etc, also close to Eigelstein, Rewe supermarket opens weekdays till midnight, and many bars and restaurants.
I stayed here for a short city break - an excellent choice. I had a superior room in the rear building which is reached by crossing a short open passage, but umbrellas are provided! Just be aware that there are steps from the lift before reaching the corridor in that part of the building. The quirky decor in the public areas sets this apart from many soulless hotels, clean, efficient - I would recommend this hotel highly.

not a twin room!Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The relaxed atmosphere, the cleanliness, the excellent breakfast. Good location 5/6 minutes from the station.
Cons: Booking system. People who choose a twin do so because that is what they want!
Location: It was just an overnight stay and handy for the station.
I took great care to book a twin room, so very disappointed to arrive late at night to find we were in a rather small double room, with no chance to change. Although the staff member on duty was concerned and did his best to make it up to us by suggesting we help ourselves to what we wanted from the mini bar, we really did want a twin! The booking system must be updated to make this happen in future. Secondly, we were led to believe that the local taxes were included and they were not. This seems not to be the hotel at fault, but the booking system.. Also the lift wasn't working and we were on the 4th floor - not great with our cases at 1am - but these things happen! You would think therefore we would never return - but in the light of below, we probably would, as long as a twin room was promised!

Nice hotel near centre of town / cathedralPosted Jun 10, 2014
Comfortable room, good breakfast but no air conditioning. Too noisy at night with window open, too stuffy with window shut. Staff very helpful.

Not so goodPosted Jun 6, 2014
Beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. Staff was OK. Breakfast was pretty good. Rooms have no ac and can get pretty warm. If you're near the front, you will get little sleep from the train and traffic noise.

Nightmare for parking!Posted Jun 2, 2014
absolutely no where to park without paying over €20 a day! Breakfast was very good but I booked a twin room and was only in a tiny single bed room.
