“Excellent, but slightly out of town hotel.”

We (my husband, me, my 1 year old son, and my mum) stayed at this hotel during a visit to the Christmas markets. We asked for adjoining rooms with my mum which we got, and also asked for a cot for my 1 year old son which was available on check in. The service was excellent so I could not fault this hotel, the staff were helpful when we were asking for directions and when we needed taxi's ordered. The breakfast was plentiful and although not included in our room price, was only 10 Euros each and very good value for money.

“Good Value”

Conveniently located just outside the city centre. A very short underground ride or a 15 minute walk (nice stroll along the river). The breakfast menu was excellent with a buffet with a wide choice from hot English style to continental. The staff were all very friendly and spoke very good English. The evening Bar food menu is somewhat limited but good quality, and compared to in-town restaurants a bit overpriced. We went for economy and picked a hotel at the lower end of the price range on the Expedia site and were very surprised by the high standard at the price. Can only think the lower rate was due to it not being right in the centre of the city but we enjoyed our walk to the town each day, taking a different route and seeing new sights each time. Highly recommended.

About a 20 min stroll from the very centre of Koln. Spacious and well appointed rooms. Friendly helpful staff. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and will use again.

“A comfortable base”

A 15-20 minute walk from the city-centre, the hotel is well-placed to explore Cologne and the surrounding area. There's a subway station about 5 minutes away and the overground station is 15 mins away. The rooms are very comfortable, with excellent shower rooms and the breakfast buffet is superb.The staff were very friendly and helpful and even recommended a good place to eat. If you haven't been active enough during the day, there's the pool and fitness centre open until late. Overall, i thought the hotel was very good value.

“Good hotel, well located in Cologne”

This hotel is not completely in central Cologne but is close enough for you to walk to the Cathedral and main shopping street (about 10-15 min.). It is a very nice hotel, clean and well equipped. The staff could however be more friendly. I would recommend and stay there again should i go back to Cologne.

The reception was first class the room superb, I could not fault the position at all, I was unable to try the restaurant as we ate out all three nights but the service in the bar was first class. I would stay here again

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definately go back there. It is about 15 -20 minutes walk from the train station in a quiet park of town so was ideal for what I wanted.

“Good for a short break”

Our group of four adults all enjoyed staying here for a long weekend. The hotel is in a quiet residential area about 15-20mins walk from the city centre with choice of pleasant routes to walk along. The breakfast was lovely with lots of variety and was a reasonable price. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was nice to have the pool and sauna to chill out in too.
