“Nice place to stay”

The hotel was a nice place to stay, but it's not too close to downtown Cologne. We had a great meal at the restaraunt and the food was very good. Overall the employees were very helpful.

“Great Hotel for Photokina”

Great value. Clean comfortable rooms. University area is great for walks. 2 block walk to tram station for easy commute to the Messe fairgrounds. Bar and restaurant comfortable.

“New Years 2010”

The hotel was in a good location, about a 30 minute walk to the downtown area, but only about 10-15 to get to the shopping district. Cologne is a great place to shop! We went on New Years weekend. There was not much open in the city during the day on New Years Day. The Dom was open, but that was about it. Staff was friendly and helpful. The sauna area was free, my only complaint would be that it had limited hours of operation. It would have been nice if it was open all day, then we could have better utilized it. Although we didn't eat breakfast, they served it later on New Years Day to accommodate guests who had stayed out late. The room was clean and hotel was quiet.
