“ok hotel”

The hotel has odd quirks. Antique safe you have to pay for, crappy internet service that you have to pay for, having to leave your room key at the front desk every time you leave the building and then the front desk doesn't ask for ID from you when you return to your room. I find this unacceptable because if it isn’t the same person you handed the key to when you left and they aren’t sure who you are they still give you a room key when you tell them room X. Doesn’t make you feel your items are very secure, since there is a chance someone could give the key to a random stranger. The internet is horrible and they are completely aware of how useless it basically is. Sometimes it is completely unavailable, but for the most part it was so slow and useless that I gave up and ended up using internet elsewhere despite having it in my room where I paid for it and they wouldn’t considered giving you a refund or credit. The hotel is in a great location and I would consider staying in it again. But if you require internet at the hotel go elsewhere and if you have items of value in your room make sure you can squeeze those items into a safe due to their requirement to leave the room key and non-ID checking procedures. An acceptable breakfast is included which is good. The room was large and warm. Nice view. And finally there isn’t an elevator to go up and down the floors (up to 4 floors I think) (not a big deal but can be for some).
