A great setting near the Midi Canal, quiet.Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Convenience to Town and the ability to self cater, we did not need to go out at night to find a meal.
Cons: The Mezanine lighting. maybe provide a torch, and certainly look at the creaking stairs
Location: the location was quiet, in the countryside, and a short walk took you to the Midi Canal a lovely walk along the canal bank.
This was a safe quiet setting near the Midi Canal , you could walk into Town for a meal so convenient. At night it may be a little dark for walking. The apartment was well set up but found the Mezzanine bedroom difficult to negotiate the stairs at night to the Bathroom downstairs, we had to keep a downstairs light on for safety reasons, that was not ideal for sleep. The wooden stairs creaked and we woke one another up so that was not condusive to a good nights sleep.

great location, peaceful surroundingsPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Idyllic, non problematic, good service. Information available about the surrounding area could have been better.

I wouldn't board my dog there!Posted Nov 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Appalling! - Arrived at 6.20pm to find reception closed and beyond sliding electric gates with no instructions.Eventually got in to find a note stuck to the door with a phone number. Phoned and attempted to converse with someone who having queried our booking pointed out that there was a safe to the left of the reception-gave us a code to retrieve a key and a map to our 'apartment'.No sign of any other occupants anywhere.Behind the locked wooden shutters was our accomodation . Managed to turn the electric on to find the floor was wet, the sofa bed damp with one leg broken so unusable, no sheets or bedding for it anyway. Double bed hard as a rock. Overall shabby condition -think deserted 60's style holiday camp which has been re-opened out of season and you have it! Just what I needed after a 600 mile drive with kids. Had to continue drive to find somewhere else. For the money I didn't expect the Ritz but this was ridiculous.
