“Was what I expected for the price”
For the price, the hotel was comfortable. For our use the location was perfect. A little hard to get into
“Friendly, helpful service”
I booked this hotel for 2 reasons: 1)the price was right, and 2) I could book it online without having to pay up front (This was most important as my arrival date was in flux). I expected an economy hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find a bright, comfortable, well-maintained room. It is extremely convenient to I-25, yet is situated in such a way that the rooms do not face the highway. Besides hearing the low rumble of an occasional freight train, the room was quiet. I also liked the fact that I could open the window to catch some of the wonderful evening breezes. The refrigerator and microwave in the room was a plus. The only negative comment I have is that the rugs in the main halls look like they could use a cleaning. A simple breakfast is provided which includes pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy among other things. It is not gourmet, but is plentiful and served warm. The front desk clerks are delightful, always smiling and helpful in many ways from giving directions or suggestions for dinner to small things like lending me some tape and sharpening my son's pencil. I will return to this hotel. It is centrally located - convenient to the Air Force Academy, Colorado College and downtown. If you are looking for a comfortable base of operations for exploring Colorado Springs that won't break the bank, then try it.
“will surely come back to this place!”
very clean roooms and quite and in a great neighbourhood. very safe place and homey and very budget friendly great place! they are remodeling the place.working very hard to keep the place in a great condition.garden of the gods is 5 mins drive from the hotel and i also went to manitou springs which is a great historial town near colorado springs and not far way from the hotel.this was exactly wat i needed.the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly .they are closer to I25 so its easy access to anywhere in town.they also have great speed WIFI and indoor heated pool n jacuzzi great place!will surely recomend it to family n friends!
““Will be back again””
“Great Stay”- I happened to go to Colorado Springs, CO, to attend the global warming seminar in UCCS. I stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn & Suites just near the UCCS. I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The free WIFI was perfect. The good thing I noticed was their customer service. I was given guidance for the restaurants, saved me money. I will return here again & recommend to all my friends & Family. You need to stay here to believe me.
“If I hadn't prepaid, I would have checked out”
The hotel was a little hard to find as it was tucked in back of the businesses on the street. I thought this might be a good thing as it might be quieter that way - wrong! There was a factory or store behind it that had a loading dock with banging all night long. The A/C in the room didn't have a medium setting so I had opened the window to get fresh air (and try to dispel the smoke smell), I ended up getting up at 3 am to shut the window as the noise was so loud! The room was large and laid out fairly well, but, was missing several amenities which I assumed were in all hotels. There was no in-room coffee, there was no hairdryer (although there was a mark where one once was!), there was no clock/radio/alarm. Not offering coffee in the room sucked, however, after going downstairs to what they offered for breakfast, I could understand why.... even hotel room coffee was better than breakfast! The coffee was horrible, the biscuits and gravy had absolutely no taste and were like glue. Many people took one look and kept on going to fast food restaurant next door!! The pool and hot tub were a joke. They were about the size of a child's sandbox and were in a room right off the hotel lobby with a huge window so anyone walking in could see you. I didn't even bother to open the door! I was staying in the area for business and had already paid through Expedia, if I could have explained getting a second hotel to my company, I would have moved!
