Walking Distance from Everything Downtown

Lovely hotel, wonderful location. I really wish they had an airport shuttle, though. Taxi service for red-eye flights is pretty touch-and-go and I nearly missed my flight. The bar and lounge that are almost always closed are a bit of a tease, but there is a fine bar that's sort-of connected; you have to ask.

Disappointing with good view.

Pros: The view, had it not be impeded by scaffolding and men on the roof below me making me want to keep the curtains drawn.
Cons: see above
Location: nothing to do without driving 20 minutes
I picked this hotel for the view. But it cost as much as much nicer places in town that were in better areas. I was disappointed with surroundings, with construction and updating that was going on that I was unaware of, with chipping paint on doors, with expense of parking and internet for such a high nightly rate. I just expected more from a Hilton.

Great location, tyni room.

The rooms are very small, the bathroom door only opens half way cause it hits the toilet. Great location walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Easy to find

Pros: Lobby is gorgeous
Cons: Bathrooms need to be enlarged! No closet or place to hang anything. I wouldn't suggest if you need an extended stay...unless you can get a suite.
Location: We went to a restaurant/pub across from the motel. Different menu - and was good, but pricey.
Antlers is a historic hotel. Beautiful lobby. If you need any kind of room in your bathroom, though...this is NOT your hotel. The door couldn't even open all the way because it ran into the toilet. The shower let water all over the floor due to the very slight lip on shower floor. It was more than fine for us for just one night...but isn't really a place i would want to stay several nights. We had room service for dessert...advertised $5.00 for a cookie and ice cream. It was delicious, mind you...but with all the extras the charged...$15.00!!! Glad the cookie was good!

Good: Central location, some hotel staff great (Dave at the coffee shop) Bad: Failed to make up room, hotel staff claim they were not empowered to make decisions, carpets stained in rooms, it appears the hotel may be cutting corners financially (toilet paper rolls left if anything lift on the roll, limited to two towels in bathroom with two guests). Breakfast buffet minimal, coffee so-s0 - thus the visit to the coffee shop adjacent to the restaurant. Bed was lumpy and non-supportive. I have stayed at the Antlers before with different management - it has always been a pleasing experience and has a lot of potential. Marked it disappointing based on these prior experiences. Tip: IMO Mountain view rooms not worth the extra $s. Yes - you get a view of the mountains, but also of the Interstate, railroad tracks, work yard, etc. City view is actually quite nice. ps. Hilton did not stand behind their best price guarantee, in which I had originally made my reservation thru Hilton. Expedia gave the best price, Hilton wouldn't match it and after getting the run-around, I happily booked thru Expedia.

our weekend in the springs

My husband and I stayed here for a much needed weekend away. We were able to check in early, which was nice, and the lobby and staff were quite pleasing. We had to pay $17/per night for parking which was disappointing and when we arrived at the room we discovered that there wasn't a microwave or a refrigerator. I made my way into the bathroom and noticed that the door was unable to open all the way because it hit the toilet bowl. Our room also did not have a bathtub only a very small shower. Also the elevator stopped at the lobby every single time we were on it even though we had not pushed the Lobby button. Quite annoying. Overall our stay was nice besides the small annoyances.
