“Good quailty”

We were attending a wedding in the manitou springs area and it was hard to narrow down a hotel. I thought this hotel for a best western was reasonable. The room was clean and we thought the beds were really comfortable. It was nice to be close to town. I was nervous reading some of the previous reviews but thought this hotel was great for what we needed. If you are looking for something in the area with more character. This hotel would not be it, but for a comfotable stay... It was a no brainer.

Had an excellent stay and a very helpful friendly staff.... the room was nice and Clean. The continental breakfast was much more then expected too...

If you're looking for comfort and an excellent pool, this is the hotel for you. Beds were comfortable, clean rooms, with friendly office staff to help you with any of your needs.

“Hotel was fine for the money”

The Skyway Inn was in a good location for sightseeing, friendly managers, clean rooms. I messed up my dates on the reservation and they helped resolve the problem, not the mountain view in the picture but a short walk to a lovely park.

This was a nice place, and a good value considering the location. Just a very short drive from the heart of Manitou Springs, and there is of course much to do in this area. This hotel appears to be fairly new with easy access to our room. We just rented a standard room.

“Waste of good money, manager did not attempt to remedy problems”

When I reserved this room I was told it was "pet friendly". Upon arrival I was told they did not allow pets per "policy". Then I was told by a different clerk I would have to pay extra so the carpet could be steamed if my pet was in there. I spilled some water on the carpet and after wiping it up, the washcloth was BLACK! When was the last time it was EVER steam cleaned. The air conditioner did not work properly, I complained three times, was told there was nothing wrong with it and was never offered a different room. The sheets were dirty and not changed the entire 4 nights I was there. These people are all about your money, not your satisfaction. I used to think Best Westerns were very good motels, but I will never stay at another one!
